haha, probably the musket player was not 50 metres away, or finished you with the rapier.
render range is in about 130m, it isn’t possible to hit someone out of render range, because of hitscan. because when the target model isn’t renderd it couldn’t determined if the target has been hit.
so hit’s out of render range isn’t possible, and when someone will tell me he was killed from a player outside render range this one isn’t telling the truth.

Your post is full for crap! Try hitting anyone with a musket, let alone a headshot, at a moving target that is jumping, zooming all over and at any range! You lucky to get a hit! Muskets suck in opr/ That is why I hardly see anyone using them. If you have issues to a upcoming bow nerf don’t toss muskets into storyline!

Ive played the GA, Mage, musket and bow. Bow without jumping is trash, GA against rapier is frustrating as hell, not against bow Spears for example. Mages are on a really good spot now. Musket is a boring 1v1 200m Sniper duel 50% of time.
The breaking weapon here is rapier and its Iframes and mobility. Just need to extend rapier cooldowns and we are good to go
Most “melee” things are OP because heavy armour is OP, though VG does have it’s issues. The hop thing should be fixed and has barely an impact on a bow’s damage.
The bow is OK at the moment, if you ignore heavy armour. A guy from my company and I were testing bows against light and med armour, he wanted to see if it was worth doing one or the other, and testing 100-150 CON compared to damage. The damage difference from light to med is like 20% less, but against heavy is like 60%.
This is blatant lie, bow jump is an exploit not a skillful aa cancel, has literally no drawbacks. Musket is in a strong place but it CANNOT SHOOT FROM SPAWN unless you are close/near spawn (ex: rocks by pillars is within range from other rocks). You cannot shoot outside of rendered and you cannot hit all targets within rendered, I’ve already confirmed by sitting on the edge of a musket reach. Stop lying in your post.

I say amen to that brotha… also, here is the reality you Bow, VG and IG players face…“75% of the players are Below Average PvP’ers (Majority)” Above average PvP’ers are the “Minority” so with that notion… in ALL BUSINESSES you have to cater to the “MAJORITY” the most because that is what feeds the DEVs family/themselves, Love yourself before you can love anyone else they say… so DEVs care about themselves “First” we come 2nd, so they need to make money first, then try to keep 75% of us happy, you cannot make 100% of the people in anything happy. So, then the “75%” complains about a weapon, it is usually because they cannot keep up with the minority who literally spend 10-15 hours PvP’ing… the Majority DO NOT ever spend anywhere near that much time in PvP and therefore will NEVER grow into an “Above Average PvP’er” (minority)… it’s simple logic, in any business and most MMOs… the Majority Rules. You can argue your case, but 75% will continue to rule. GA nerfed, the 75% spoke and were heard for example, Rapier, VG, IG, I guess Bow now to, yall next, feels bad having your weapon nerfed when you’ve played a certain way for a while and then it gets stripped from you, feel our pain too then lol.
Bow projectile needs a buff in terms of size & speed.
Right now, the Bow shines at short range, and the reason is that medium/long shots are just impossible to land on moving targets, due to the slow & small projectile.
I think the Bow being a ranged weapon should shine at medium range, and be decent at long range.
It’s counter-intuitive as a Bow player to feel strong at short range.
That’s not right. I can literally 3v1 melees at melee range with Bow/Rapier. Rapier is not just a hard counter, its literally imposible to land anything besides that hooking ability wich name I dont remover. It counters shieldsword, hammer, Spears, VG… It gives los of manouvering at melee range so easily. They should not remover the kit, just make It harder to use.
Rapier is what makes the difference, not the bow jumping cancel. That is why almost every weapon combine well with rapier, healers use It, IG use It, VG use It, even some melees.
As I say, I love rapier playstyle but un good hands you can literally Iframe 5 guys easily for some time.
Id like to have this playstyle intact just make it harder to get. Bow animation cancel was the best not intended mechanic in a Game and defined am aggredive-highly skilled-high Risk reward playstyle that is clearly going to die in a few days. The clsssic “Rogue” class has no presente now that bow flankers get murdered and nerfed one again
I just see a decent mage playing against terrible melees. Oh and hitting lights for 1500 and heavys for 2300 while exploding aoe fireballs to the ground and still doing damage.
As I said rapier is the breaking point, not the fire staff here. Rapier alows him to 1vX with damage, mobility and CC and the melees can just watch him do It and die
