I never made any claim to know that developers have any intention on āhurtingā people for the sake of hurting them. What I have said, is its Clearly a balance issue. Theyāre balancing one path thatās far easier to make it more in line with the other pathā¦

You keep using the words easy and hard. This is where we disagree as well. There is nothing hard about any of these systems. Nothing hard about harvesting. Nothing hard about crafting. Nothing hard about looting boxes. Nothing hard about even killing the mobs/bosses while looting boxes. Its just tedious.
There is nothing interesting about these elite zones. Adding absurd hit points and damage to elite NPCs doesnāt make them hard. It just makes it mind numbing boring. Which is why I donāt do the content anymore. Its not that its hard. Its that its boring. Its because its not hard that I donāt do it. Spamming my LMB on some trash and some bosses for an hour is not my idea of a good time. Its all easy stuff. Just freaking boring.
This whole game is built on pretty graphics and boring content. There is nothing memorable about the game itself. I have some memorable things with some friends but it wasnāt the content that made them memorable.
Does anyone actually go into one of these elite zones or dungeons and actually get stoked they beat something? They might get stoked they got a lucky drop but no good player is getting stoked about beating anything in this game. Not the way they would in other MMOs. I can see getting stoked over like a war win in this game or maybe even an opr win (not sure about the opr win because its the one content I havenāt tried yet) but nothing in the PVE aspect of the game does it make me jump out of my chair in victory because I beat it.
Tedious does not make anything hard. It just makes it take longer. The entire game is build on making it take longer but none of it is actually fun. Instead of making things fun they just scramble to make things take even longer. They literally spent their first two major content updates on making things take longer while adding almost nothing fun. That to me is piss poor direction.
I am looking forward to the QoL boosts in the cash shop! AGS has my FULL SUPPORT. I donāt have time to play the game that much, so this will really help me!
