Didn’t you just tell someone else a couple posts ago that this game is a dumpster fire? Then you question why I am here? Thats kind of hypocritical don’t you think.
Its more than just a nerf. Even if I don’t like aspects of a game that isn’t reason to quit a game. There is no game on the market that anyone doesn’t like some aspects of it. Everyone has their own line though. Mine is close. I am also allowed to discuss and give my feedback of how I feel about the game. Thats pretty much the purpose of a game having a forum.

I’ve been very critical from the beginning with all the mistakes and patches to break things, but I’ve also said all along that the game has great potential. I love a lot about the game… The balance is a massive mess, but after next patch I think they’ll be about 80% there as far as tuning it up.
The difference is I think NOW the games is improving… So I’m happy…
I can deal with problems… if there’s progress…
3 weeks ago every update was making the game worse… but we have 1 improvement, and another one planned… I’m optimistic.
Well then why question me? Why didn’t you just quit. Ever stop to think that I and others that are also critical of the game are here because they also like some of it and see the potential of it? Just because someone else thinks differently than you about the direction of the game doesn’t make them any different than you.
Yes, exactly. YOU are happy but you weren’t. When you weren’t you were critical. Others don’t like the direction so now they are being critical. Why is it ok for you to do that but not everyone else?

I don’t feel sorry for Great Axe Users… Great Axe was obviously a problem… Anyone who didn’t agree is just lying… Everyone knows its OP… I know at least 20 people who switched TO Great Axe and they’ll tell you why… “It’s just too good not to”.
Life Staff is the same way… In my last 2-3 wars, our top healer healed for more then the top 10 damage dealers, or it was very close… It was like 4,000,000 healed vs the top dmg was 400k, I don’t remember the exact numbers but it was less then 10%. If you think Life Staff doesn’t need a nerf you’re just not paying attention.
With Fire Staff, The way I was playing wasn’t Super OP… I played a very SAFE Heavy Armor Fire mage… The nerf wasn’t because the way I played it was OP… It was because the guy in Light with 400int was hitting pillars for 8k dmg. The nerf’s affected me, and it hurt, but it was justified.
It’s the same thing with this. Developers can see where all the 600gs is because they posted numbers about it… So clearly they’re looking at it… I believe the Developers got it right… There’s a significant flaw in allowing someone to jump into a game buy the best gear and thats it… He’s as strong as he can get… Maybe when you leveled up and geared up you didn’t do it as effectively as others did, so like me when I got nerf’d you don’t feel like it was justified… But it is.
Thats all fine and dandy. I appreciate your explanation. Im not going to get into all those things because it isn’t the topic of the thread. What I will say is being critical of something is being critical of something. Whether that is balance issues with weapons or balance issues with tedium. Its all being critical of a design aspect of the game.
I don’t feel its right that you pick and choose what people are allowed to be critical about the game. Its ok for you to disagree with a person and present arguments to back up while you feel the way you do. I don’t think its ok to tell people to quit, ask why they are here, etc. Maybe its ok if the person is an obvious troll that is obviously here just to stir up trouble and try and burn the game down. I’m not that person. I’m the person that liked the game but doesn’t like the direction its going and I am and will continue to leave my feedback about that and discuss it with others.

gypsum will not be. Developers said it will not be. That doesn’t mean some convenience items won’t be added that have to do with expertise but it won’t be gypsum.
So why I saw a lot of posts like it will be ?? And why moderators allow to spread this misinformation xd ?
Maybe partially true. I don’t know that I still love the game more than I love what I thought it could be. I don’t know that I will enjoy it at all after the changes. Time will tell.

You are correct. It doesn’t mean those type of items WILL be added that have to do with with expertise. But I am also right. It doesn’t mean there won’t be. What we do know for sure is that convenience items will be added next year. What exactly they will be we don’t know. They mentioned things like azoth, rested xp, storage, and other things of that nature. Convenience items are coming for sure. Expertise convenience items who knows. Could be or could not be.
I personally don’t mind convenience items. I think one they are necessary for them to make money. No money = no game. I also think they help people that join games late or maybe take a lot of time off and just want to play with their friends.
What I don’t like is when a game obviously creates problems so they can sell solutions. It remains to be seen if NW is doing that or not. I lean on the side right now that they probably are doing that at least in part, but that doesn’t mean I am right about it. Time will tell.

Well, I don’t know that for sure. I do however have a strong opinion in the affirmative.
I think AGS has leadership problems. They’re updates are very heavy handed… They seem to overdo everything. They obviously have issues with the engine that creates a lot of these bugs that crop up when they change anything. The solution to fixes breaking more things is the PTR, which they did, LATE, and then they didn’t use it for the next update, and that lead to more duping… They lost a lot of people because of this… I think they have poor leadership, and low experience with MMO’s considering they built their own engine, which has lead us to these strings of preventable mistakes…
They’re headed in the right direction, but they’re hitting their heads on every low branch along the way, and no leadership to tell everyone to get their heads down.
