Nimble & Hearty Perk, is this intended?

Hi,

Nimble is ALWAYS based off the default 100 stamina? Is this intended? Maybe a tooltip update is needed?

When Nimble is combined with Hearty, shouldnt it be 9.8% of 110 stamina, instead of 100 Stamina?

When you time the stamina recovery, you would think Nimble times should be tied, but thats not the case

TL;DW
Nimble with no hearty has fastest stamina recovery, 167 frames from 0
Nimble with Hearty regens stamina off the BASE 100 stamina, not 110 Stamina from Hearty. Bugged? Not sure

But why should it be faster with hearty?
Stamina regen /= stamina
Im sure you just have a stamina regeneration base value (untied to our stamina value) which gets increased by 9.8%.
So everything working as intended

Yeah, but it is kind of counter-intuitive to have the same recovery time with nimble + hearty and none of those perks at all.
Maybe the “you can dodge again” should be based on 100 Stamina, not the bar being full?

No. The formula is a base stamina regen regardless of how much stamina you have. If base is 30 stamina/sec as an example, having more won’t change it.

I actually dont understand your conclusion, normal regen takes 181 frames for 100 stamina (1,81 frames per stamina point) , while nimble + hearty takes 181 frames to regen 110 stamina (1,65 frames per stamina point), so effectively you regen ≈ 9,8% faster

I think this is the correct answer

The mechanics around these perks seem counter productive, as @Theolodis mentioned

Hearty has much less value as a perk without being paired with Nimble.

For Light and Heavy Equipweight, you can dodge an additional time, yes, a huge plus, but the drawback is a much longer delay before stamina replenishes to do anything. A punishment. Not outlined anywhere.

I think dodging stamina cost should decrease overall by 10p, but maybe this would need to be followed by a nerf on the dex bracket to 5 stamina. That on the other side would not truly be fair, so who knows if they just go for -10p without a dex nerf.

I dont get what you’re trying to say. stamina regen is stamina gained per second. You could have 300 stamina. An increase from 10 stamina per second to 11 stamina per second is still an increase. The total stamina value isn’t relevant.

I assumed stamina regen was based off total stamina, 100 or 110 (hearty), but as mentioned above, its a seperate Stam Regen value, only affected by Nimble perk.

Maybe Stamina regen should be based off max stamina. That would negate the downfall of having Hearty without Nimble meanwhile Hearty & Nimble would gain significant value when used together.

  • Nimble vs Nimble &Hearty would regen in the same frames/time
  • Normal (no perks) vs Hearty no nimble, would regen in the same frames/time
