@Aenwyn did we just like get the wrong client version of the ptr or is balance changes not this week or was it all a fever dream?

nobody. Another feature like music. No body asked for it and nobody wants it.
What we need are pvp rankings.
Now with leaderboards pvp is going to change into stat padding and minimizing deaths.

In this video it’s clearly stated at 04:42-05:51: “we will make changes (balance for armor loads) and they’re coming to PTR near you”. So this was a lie?

Yeah they needed months to prep for leaderboards…………
The leaderboard stuff was in the works for a lot time. It was expected to come now.
The balance changes were announced recently, which were likely in response to the forum’s discontent and dwindling player populations. Those changes will likely come later.
You see, same as all mmo, the developer spends way too much time/resources trying to appease a very vocal minority, while having no clue about what the majority of players really want. Pick your mmo. They all do it. Economics 101 for AGS: quit balancing the game for pvp players and you’ll actually make more money. Every time shit gets nerfed, PVE gets less fun.
pve is already considerably too easy. there is literally no challenge to M10s.

What about this round is proposed nerfs would make PvE less fun? Genuinely curious as to your thoughts.
Shirking fort sure, but honestly can’t see that being the difference of you being able to complete m10 or not. They are attempting to buff some weapons in PvE to add more diversity of viable builds.
I don’t see how this current proposal will hurt PvE

David clearly stated it will be the upcoming PTR, watch what I linked - it’s clear from context (as they’ve been talking about this upcoming PTR for a while).

I have a feeling the balance changes were going to come today but after the extreme back lash and all the People pointing out set backs to another round of nerds to light armor on the forums, they decided to push it back and take another look. But that’s me hoping for the best. Maybe they just lagging.
