Definitely an odd choice to make a post teasing balance changes, then release the PTR with no new content, and then continue to be quiet about the balance changes. PvP is in such a stale, stagnant state right now and the current war meta is awful.

Yeah, today is usually the day they drop the info too…
The current PTR build is a more immediate patch coming to Live servers within the next week or so – mainly focused on QoL bugs and Leaderboards. Beyond that, we have a pretty big announcement and sizable PTR update which will follow quick on its heels. This is what you’re likely expecting (and truthfully, we’re excited about it too).

February ptr cycle at the earliest, so the patch won’t drip till end of February beginning of March at the earliest.

Translation: This will be the last patch of January or the first patch of February.
Translation: This will likely be available on the PTR within the first several weeks of February, making it to live servers sometime in early-mid March, before the Defiled Rabbit’s Foot event.

While I appreciate the communication, I really hope you guys learned from this and don‘t space out controversial announcements and the actual details of those changes out that much in the future again.
The entire economy is frozen currently because of that announcement, the playerbase is extremely anxious to spend any coin and nobody is crafting anything anymore. It actively hurts the game to know that changes are coming but not knowing what exactly is going to change.

Can confirm, Asmodium has hit an all time low on Seer at under 95g an ingot now, all cooldown mats have dipped below 100 or hovering there and it feels weird. Scarabs were up but are slowly falling now, at one point they dropped under 1k gold. With the 595-600 crafting 590 crafting bug though, I can see why anyone is hesitant to craft a well, just throwing gold out the window and a far less chance of hitting 600 gear because of it.

Problem is that leaderboards are going to be such a shetshow that you will be running around putting out fires instead of working on changes for PTR! Leaderboards is a huge mistake at this time. Weapon balance and fixes should have come first!

The AGS need to deliver a patch by January , it should be part of their schedule and it should be the " Leaderboard " on 1/31 , because there is nothing left on the PTR , and " big " content needs time for testing , so I bet on the 02/02th, and likely to be the Balancing of weapons and Sets, there will also be changes in mutations so that long-range weapons are “used” and there may be Rework of some skills that are barely used today.
Did I get it right?
This is basically a delay tactic to buy a couple more weeks.

This statement is totally unfair. The rotation has been bug > content alterations of patches for a while now. No one is “buying more time” They are following the rotation they decided to take to provide higher quality. Stop the troll and abuse.

You guys should consider patching combat exploits right away and not let them sit on the PTR for weeks while you test the leaderboards.
