Why were these pvp perks released without being tested? Invigorated Punishment took me 5 mins to test with a friend in a duel. What is the QA procedure for new content? Shouldn’t a coder be able to load up a quick test and see if their own code works? This bug was even reported on PTR.
Tested on a healer friend as soon as I got it with fort stacking, below is the testing using an Ice Gaunt with t2 arcane gem. Dmg showed is Ice/Arcane split. There was no dmg difference on champ ring past x3 buffs (had the healer add x2 forts + x1 haste).

It really does feel like for every step forward they make we get punished by two steps back somehow.
Yeah you get new items…but they’re bugged.
There’s a PvP tracks…but you can best level that with PvE and that exploit we didn’t notice

Chefs who never taste their food don’t tend to do super well, and that seems to track here. They claim to play the game but… all I’ve seen is Luxendra commenting on bugged chat, the dev vs streamers thing-- six people I’ve never heard of woo-- and the infamous “they literally just outed themselves for never playing” chest run.
We just keep having evidence of what’s gone wrong, and we just keep being told they’ll pass it along to the team.
It’s exactly a toxic relationship. She keeps assuring us she’ll do better next time, but next time never gets better.
I mean we are now on the 3rd iteration of Arena rewards since the patch went live and they still are not grasping why players are not playing them. The community will be back here bitching about the changes again, and we will get another “we are listening, its about the journey not the destination” post that doesn’t really solve the problem and has another time gate.
Kinda feels like they’re working on NW on their lunch break and spending more time with their side chick XD
I mean we can assume at this point just the bare minimum is been done.
Same with healing ability DE. AGS forces players into using it as the premiere single target heal…armor perk doesnt work, 3rd passive doesnt proc after patch.

The amount of times this has happened in the last 5 months is funny. I don’t understand why the same build is not shipped to Live. It brings be back to that comment they in one dev vid, “at any given time we are working on 5 different builds”. Seems they struggle to keep track of which is which.
I’ve actually felt the same way. The monthly patches have been pretty good, but the pace at which they fix important bugs on a weekly basis is VERY lackluster. Sometimes we go a week without any patch at all, and then when we do get a patch, it’s 5 small fixes that nobody really tends to care about. I’ve been holding out hope that as the months went by, the game would have less bugs in it. But it seems like they introduce as many bugs in new patches than they fix, so if 30% of the game is broken right now, I think 30% of the game will still be broken in a year or two from now as well.
Perks not working or even working with wrong values is one of the thing I hate the most about NW. No kidding. MMOs in general require hundreds of hours of gameplay to build your gear. The fact that you can spend so much time to then have something that doesn’t work as intended is just insulting. Look at how much time it took them to fix Freedom. It took 8 fricking months. Unbelievable.
If that’s the case, it wouldn’t surprise me. It’s like every single developer at AGS works on his own version of the game and then they randomly chose one version to use for an update…
This is the buggiest mmo I’ve ever played, and I’m old.
