Are you some kind of AGS acolyte of Jeff? Directly referencing the rules as if you have them on your favorites page
I am NOT required to hold people’s hands if they want help. I have the right to say “no, you need to learn for yourself”

argumentum ad hominem
I agree, you are not required to hold anyone’s hand and help them. And I see that you dont want to help anyone either.
In a manner that fosters a friendly, supportive community.
Is that a spell from harry potter?
As for the topic is concerned. It is time for AGS to introduce their cross-server tech. Starting with OPR, fine. But very soon after that, a much more traditional cross-server dungeon finder. No group lobby system, no shenanigans. Just sign up for a random daily or selected dungeon as a roll and go with the luck of the draw.
Operative word being foster.
You can foster a friendly environment without being friendly yourself.
Example: someone comes on the forums saying “I do not want this specific ethnic group in the game”
Community response: “Well thats racist.”
OR
“Welcome to the forums new friend!”
I cant believe this is being debated. Its totally meaningless when you realize that anyone who reads these forums already cares more about the game than any new world staff.
They realized in 2021 that they needed to start job searching. Why? Because only a complete moron would think Amazon or bezos looks at 70k users on a holiday weekend and says anything other than “failed project”.
OR
You could say nothing and just report it. Which takes away its energy and allows AGS to deal with it.
I cant read people’s minds so I dont know what they think.
New World community is far from a friendly supportive community. it is one of, if not THE most toxic communities I have ever encountered. that is facts.
look little brother I am all about free speech. problem is many of you think that means everyone has to agree with you. this is a major you problem. discourse and argument is good.
I agree with that.
I agree with that too.
Well lucky for you, i can read minds just fine.
I am unclear on whether or not he knows this game exists (magical powers are finicky) but he definitely thinks that any service with less than 10% of its original users is failed. Present tense, already gone, and on the chopping block.
I have more hours in this game than anyone in this thread and ill be happy when its gone.
NW is designed to be addictive and while it scratches that itch, the staff is awful and disrespectful to customers. They are, as far as im concerned, totally incompetent after a full year of being allowed the priviledge of learning on the job.
The CMs should be be sharing that feedback daily until something improves. Instead they post once a week in a fart thread.
Can ya now? Hmmm…
Good to know. I’ll keep this top of mind.
Is that why you quoted it twice? Repetition is key to memorization.
I thought you said,
Its a tough life i cant do it all.
Or maybe it’s about time to accept that the majority of people just doesn’t like the mutation formula.
Me personally just hate the time requirements and penalty’s for dying.
at least AGS keeps putting their time towards things we all asked for like instruments, these shitty new potions, etc. You can play the guitar while you sit in OPR queue for 2 hours, how fun. this game is dying and they keep prioritizing the wrong things and half-assing or delaying things we did ask for like ranked matches, cross-server pve/pvp, leaderboards.
ever think high server pop is not players? but bots?
I’d be willing to bed a significnant number of the active “players” are bots. the server I’m on has ones that have been here for weeks and in mostly the same spots just farming away.
Valhalla is a good example of this. It was the most populated server at launch (at least on NA East) and we always assumed there were hundreds of bots at any given time.
