I’m returning after a long break ( a year and a half) and it seems that my Main Story Quests are kinda messed up. I’m level 32, playing on EU Central on Barri, character name is: PastaLord.
I don’t remember exactly where I left off. but from what I see I have the Azoth Staff equipped, have some gear from Amrine Excavation and some quest items that make me think I was in a higher level zone than Monarch Bluff and Windsward (only zones that give me Main Story Quest)…
How can I start the MSQ from the higher level zones? Right now I have no alternative than to do MSQ from Monarch Bluff and Windsward, which I don’t want to, because I was way later in the story than this level 12 quests…
I have the same issue. Comming back after a long break of about a year. I tried a lower level MSQ in Windsward hoping it would chain into the higher one but no luck there, it just stops. I also have the azoth staff tier one. For me Brightwood and Weaverd fen also do not contain any sidequests at all i can only do faction quests there.
Seems like the game is stuck in the area’s before level 30 and the MSQ is also somehow stuck there and the the whole game is not moving me on.
I’m using geforce now so i do not have acces to local files. Already submitted a ticket… hoping this is resolved soon.

I’m getting worried about this. Just found a post about a guy being level 60 and still having a azoth tier one staff. This was in november he said he lost the main story quest around Brightwood area. Probably when turning level 30. He posted later again saying it still was not resolved.
When opening my attributes and i click the level button showing the quest progression i see i supposed to have reveived a quest for a level 2 campsite at level 25 which i also did not receive and at 30 a MSQ to get azoth tier 2 staff which i also did not receive. So after the level 20 MSQ for the azoth tier 1 staff which i did more then a year ago with the fisherman guy, and the update on the MSQ questline it broke the whole questline.
For me there are also no sidequests at all in Brightwood and weafers fen so that makes it even more frustrating.
No not yet, i tried a few things which i found on google but most of them are about the old questline before the changes so they don’t work. Hoping they rollout a fix or even just letting people reset the MSQ and redo it if that’s the only way, atleast then i know i can progress and move on…
The last quest i did more then a year ago is: Into the Breaches | New World Wiki | Fandom Or the old version if it changed, i received my azoth staff and needed to clear 3 corruption thingies.

To make sure I’d fully understood, you’ve already clear the 3 corruptions zones when you received your Azoth Staff but the Destiny Unearthed quest’s is still missing. Is there any update about your escalation via web ticket? This might will be necessary to inform in order to help you because you did an outstanding job reaching lvl 35 with side and faction’s quests, please check the spam/junk files within your email, your ticket’s response might fallen into those files categories.

I have not received an update on my ticket yet. And yes i think i cleared the 3 corruptions zones but it might aswell be that i was still doing that quest more then a year ago. Im sure i never received the quest Destiny Unearthed.
Today i found the quest for lvl 25 that supposed to give me a camp upgrade, which is a sidequest. I finished it but i did not receive the camp upgrade. This quest is in the level progression overview when you click the button on the attribute page.

I looked there several times already and he is not there. Clearly something is bugged for some people when returning after a long break and having finished the MSQ to obtain the azoth staff tier 1.
Contacted the support via a ticket and they provide no help. They simply stated i should complete the low lvl MSQ’s for both areas which i did and which solved nothing as somebody already stated on the forums. I provided them all neccesary information and they provided no support or insight in what’s being done if something is being done.
Now im lvl 39 and i still have no MSQ to progress and obtain my azoth staff tier 2.
Im getting the feeling that amazone support is not taking this seriously and just hoping it will resolve itself.
So would be nice if somebody does take a serious look at this instead of providing answers we can find ourself using google.
I replied to my ticket also and let’s hope something changes. For now it seems there is no motivation to keep playing as things just don’t work.
Is used https://nwdb.info/ to check all locations where Yonas or other quest givers could be for MSQ’s and Yonas is nowhere.
According to my last MSQ i think he should be at the fishermans hollow in everfall i also checked near The Amrine Excavation. Yonas is nowhere.
Other strange thing is that is still have the pieces for the azoth staff in my inventory i can go to the obelisk and create it again and nothing happens the pieces stay in my inventory and i already have the staff. I can do this everytime i re-login and i did this 3 times already.
Would greatly appreciate a response on this as i cannot play anymore like this.
I want to let you know that i’m done with AGS for now, your support agents are really bad at their jobs. Over week of mailing on a support ticket only one agent gave a somewhat helpfull response all other responses were useless to say the least.
And now after a week of patience and mailing them my findings they just closed the ticket because the say it’s denied. And they think im somehow now talking about lost ark.
