I’m been playing this game since launch and have logged over 3000 hours and this is a suggestion: No more PTRs please. They are useless and a big waste of time because a lot of the issues that were reported during weren’t fixed before release. There are ALWAYS more bugs after every major patch, most of them are game breaking. Players’ trust in this game is declining, if not gone. Please fix current bugs and just leave the game alone, you guys deserve a break. When you want to drop a major patch in the future, just do it without the PTR since everyone will be “testing” the patch after release anyways. We’ll be surprised with the “new content” one way or another and it’ll be less painful this way.

Solution: Just remove it from your Steam account and like magic, PTR gone

They need somehow keep PR
They should really just use the PTR properly for balancing and tuning. Give everyone BIS sets to play with and make drastic combat changes and see how everyone plays out before you decide to nerf or buff things.
Experiment with new gameplay elements and apply
Heavy handed buffs or nerfs and just solicit real time feedback.
The current way PTR is set up sucks. It overhypes content and it feels like the devs don’t listen. People were raging for a month about how the fortify changes were only going to be an indirect buff to range while they were applying nerfs to melee.
I used to do PTR testing. But they kept releasing builds with reported bugs, made last minute changes, and ignored most feedback. So why bother?
