we can’t see any new content in the game even though 3 months have passed.
6 months for players to wait for new content is too long, especially for a MMORPG that got off to a bad start.
It has become very annoying to see only bug fixes in every update.

2023 looks like such a letdown for this game
They may eventually move to a D2 style seasonal system, though D2 has its own sort of issues, last season was particularly boring to the point that I came back to New World rather than play it lmao, this season has been better and once Lightfall is out I will play that a heap bad not be on New World at all.
Otherwise if they keep with the once a year major content release and minor content/seasonal grind thingy that they currently have like D1 then there will be big peaks and troughs in player base.
We will probably see at least 2-3k players still in 8 months im sure. Then AGS will do some huge event of some kind to bring back players like going F2P or releasing PvP servers or something. Then 3 months after back down again to 3k

ye the whole promise was “less frequent updates but bigger content drops” well we got fk all was the copy pasta winter event from last year content? no, NW is in the worst state its ever been legit feels like 10 devs holding this game on livesupport

Yeah, that was definitely weird. It was almost completely exactly the same.
I think they have never even reported how many TOTAL people they have working in the game. I think the number is sad.
