No new weapons in the next 6-7 months?

Im disappointed as well. To be fair, I’d highly recommend the devs focus on fixing all the gear/skills/abilities of current weapons before introducing a new one, but no word on that either. PvP is hanging by a strand imo, so not a very reassuring dev video to kick off a time that should be exciting.

Of all the things to leave out, the introduction of new weapon(s) is literally the one thing they should be doing. They talked about Blunderbuss AND Great Sword back in the December 2021 Dev Video, how can they literally not say which weapon they are developing for 2023?

2 weapons a year was too few also for an entire 12-month cycle seeing as to how Void Gauntlet was added in November. Unreal.

Least it wasn’t another nerf. More than we were expecting, let’s be honest

We need things to DO.

That simple. Big whiff here.

I could see them adding a weapon in the next few months like they added instruments that weren’t on the roadmap either.

Till 2024 I will forget I ever played this shit.
No new OPR map since over a year. And nothing about daggers which we highly want since the begining (same as greatsword, but WHO ASKED FOR blunderbuss or void gauntler before?)

I dont know… last devlog makes me to want really leave the game and stop waiting to things get better.

I’m happy that at least for next 6 months there will be no new weapons. I would love to see the current ones fixed and balanced before we run on another broken, unbalanced weapon to the mix. There are so many issues that need to be addressed. Armor weight and attribute system should be rebalanced before even considering new weapon.

AGS “should” focus on fixing the core game in next 6 months, improving already existing systems and expanding on them. Weapons are just fun for few weeks - if new weapon is OP it will be abused, if its weak, people will return to meta after couple of weeks and forget it ever got introduced.

It’s truly outrageous they did not announce any weapon, and even worse that weapon not being dagger yet.

Dagger/DW Daggers should have been in the game as a starter weapon.

No way in hell an MMO adds Great Axe and Great Hammer and not fucking daggers.

we got 3 new weapons over the course of the games first year. people expect too much.

It s not a buff, they already nerfed 3.5% dmg in old days

Well there needs to be major expansion next year, going by what was just shown I would say winter, October/November perhaps. I would expect that to have a lot of the stuff people think are missing, new OPR maps (maybe that will come with x server), new weapon’s, 2-3 new zones etc etc.

If there is no major expansion next year, paid or otherwise, then I’m afraid it’s just going to be more trickle additions going forward. Maintenance Mode + if you would.

It’s then time to permanently throw the towel in.

I hope it takes them a while to add a new weapon.
Greatsword looks so powerful than other weapons

How about they rework the terrible perks and skills and fix all the bugged stuff first? Some weapons are basically playing an entirely different game compared to others in terms of viability.

Scary to think it‘s gotta be either or. It honestly just shouldn‘t take them 6 entire months to get the current weapons in a good state.

The reality is we know it will take that long or longer. How long did it take for fire staff to get a buff? And a minor one at that. Doesn’t matter how much damage the staff does, the entire kit is clunky as hell. Gameplay should be smooth and fun at MINIMUM

I definitely agree, but I still think they need to keep new weapons coming. I don‘t mind them taking more time between each release, but weapon releases are arguably the most exciting piece of content they can bring in.
