'No product information found-contact customer support' err

This problem is new to me after playing many hours, making no changes to my pc, and did not start near any patch I am aware of. All of the solutions listed in a previous closed thread do not correct the issue for me except for restarting my pc, sometimes multiple times.

My attempted solutions were all listed in this thread

Again, none of the solutions changed the problem except for restarting my pc until new world starts correctly.

I play video games to enjoy the time I am wasting. I am really trying to enjoy this game but it feels like its getting worse instead of better. Even while excluding the declining population.

Too many band aids holding together a stick that is too long with a half eaten carrot band aided to the end… imo

i did not need to restart my cumputer

This was provided in the closed thread I linked listing ‘solutions’ to this problem. They may work for others, they have not worked for me.

Thank you for the effort, however I have tried this and it did not solve my issue.

Day 4 of ‘No product information found-contact customer support’

I know this is irrelevant to players but I will not be playing again until I am able to sign in first try. I am done restarting my computer multiple times just to play this game, 1 straw too many. I want to enjoy this game, but the effort isn’t worth the frustration anymore.

This post is not a beg for a solution but another cathartic venting of my frustrations via my screams into the dev abyss.

I was able to sign in on my first attempt today, day 5. No changes were made to my pc, my router, my firewall, my internet settings and no update was required to play.

I feel like my ability to play today was good RNG as opposed to anything being fixed.

Yesterday, day 6, I was again able to log in first try.

Today, day 7, I was not able to log in. “No product info…”

Contact customer support? You mean, like the error requested I do every day for 4 days, and again today? Gee, never thought of that, maybe I should start using my pc with the monitor on.

Perhaps I will try the mod method of powering up redundant posts via reposting them. Maybe if I post “err no erroring” enough times my problem will magically go away.

Yesterday, day 8, I was unable to log in again. ‘no product…’

Today, day 9, I was able to log in first try. +1 to err no erroring.

So, I was wrong for today.

I was able to make it past the title screen, however I was unable to log in, see my character, or close the window without f4. There was a new error blaming my net connection, however my connection was consistent throughout the startup.

Day 10. I was able to log in on my first try. woo.

Also day 10. I quit to main menu, could not see my character or the state of any servers. Restart New World, ‘No product information…’ Not so woo.

Day 11, unable to log in today. ‘No product…’

I am beginning to think telling the error to stop isn’t working…?

Outside of links found very quickly when googling this problem, there has been no help with this issue. No help from customer service, no help from the forum. This problem continues, but my requests for help will not.

I’m too lazy to read the other forum post but I had a similar issue and it wasn’t on the NW side, but the on the steam side. I had to uninstall/reinstall the steam client and I haven’t had an issue since.

I was trying to hold off on reinstalling new world just in case customer service told me the solution was something else. They have yet to tell me anything.

I will try uninstalling both when the issue really gets to me again, but right now its just annoying. The lack of assistance is disappointing, but ill take it as devs focusing on real problems as opposed to my inconvenient one.
