'No product information found, unable to initialize game'

Ok…

I was playing the game 2 days ago up until 1am no problem. Logged out.
Could not log in yesterday (IRL, unable to get some free time to play).
Try to log in today… and get this error:

I’ve restarted steam, even restarted PC… nothing.

What’s going on?

No, I’ve never had it on. Just checked again and it has never been enabled.

Nothing has changed on my computer since the last time I logged out… which LITERALLY was me logging out of the game and turning the PC off. It has not been turned on until today and first thing I did was try to launch New World. This is very weird.

My apologies to hear you are experiencing this issue.

Please follow step by step the next troubleshooting steps to solve this inconvenience:

From the Start/Windows Menu, select Settings.
Select Network and Internet.
In the Status section, under Change your network settings, select Change adapter options.
When the Network Connections window opens, right-click your network connection.
Select Properties. 
Scroll to Internet Protocol version 6.
Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) box.
Select OK to save your changes for the selected network adapter.
Try launching the game again. A PC restart may be necessary.

Thank you for your prompt reply but the IPv6 is not the issue.

I have resolved it by clearing windows temp folder, all browser caches, doing steam file verification on this game and finally restarting steam.

It logged in after that. Something in the steam or NW launch process is apparently boinking a file out.
