I have to say its extremely frustrating that not only did they break their broken game some more, but now they are stingy with the server transfer tokens. People are stuck due to the small window last week. But you don’t even have an option to purchase these tokens. No solution on the table and nobody knows what the move is going to be for the future. Here is some context:
“Our company is transferring servers when the 2PM PST switch goes live. We’ve had others who have transferred in already, during the short window in last weeks patch. We already committed to a new server and will begin the process ASAP. Will the others have a token reset on this patch or at least the option to buy so they can join us? Or will they be stuck on the current toxic server with no option to leave?”
They already said you would get one token so use it wisely. They also stated that a paid option may become available in the future. If they kept giving out free transfers servers will become unstable as all get out.
They clearly have stated if people are having issues with the world they transfer to, they will issue new tokens as seen fit.
To me enabling a feature for six hours than disabling it for a week, so all friends get split up and different decisions are made, is enough circumstance to reissue tokens. Or at least give us the option to buy them.
Your lack of communication and wanting to leave a toxic server is not grounds for another token. You failed to communicate with those that came into your server that you were planning on leaving. Or you decided it got to toxic after already having people switch in. None of this is reflective of an error on AGS or the small 6 hour window. You had ample time to express what your plans were. I have bashed AGS a lot today, but this is on you guys.
If you understood the circumstances and how we have about 150+ being blacklisted for wars, maybe you’d be a bit more sympathetic. This happened in the last 4 days. There was no way to predict it.
You are arguing for a corporation who has screwed its player base one way or another, almost every step of the way. Not only are they not simply resetting everyones tokens which would negatively impact NOBODY, including yourself… but there is also no option in the store.
I entered a server when it was half empty and now there is a 2k queue. AGS did not lock the server. Now I want to leave that server bc it is so laggy. It is good for the server tho if some players leave. No options for me. I am okay to pay for transfers
They said they would think about adding it to the store. To get blacklisted means you guys probably did something pretty shitty. Not even the Covenant guild who has exploited the past 5 wars they have been in have been blacklisted yet.
Again, assuming things you don’t know instead of just shutting the f up and keeping your negative 2 cents to yourself. There are plenty of people negatively effected by it.
And what server is that. Last time I checked only the few large servers that were large before transfers have reached peaks that high. No med or low pop servers went to high pop during the transfer window.
The way your attitude is, you and your company most likely deserve to get blacklisted. Again to get 150+ blacklisted from doing wars means you guys are either one. Super assholes, or two exploited.
Bro you got 150+ people in your company blacklisted from wars. What on earth did you do to have this occur. Don’t look for sympathy if you do something wrong.
I’m in the same situation as you and it is quite frustrating. Friends split up throughout multiple worlds, and now they’re wanting to move to a more populated world than the one we originally picked out. I just want a refund token so we can play together. I’d purchase it, even.
