PLEASE MERGE VALHALLA !! We are dying here … ![]()

the server is dead
They recently reenabled per server player count. I’m getting this information off of nwdb’s server status page.
They should be aiming to get all servers as close to 2000 as possible, EVERYONE would agree a light que is better than a dead server. Merging 2 100pop servers into each other does absolutely nothing. Multiple mergers are needed ASAP to revive this game.
This is completely untrue. The only town that had taxes increased was Mourningdale, aside from that EF and BW have consistently had low taxes and buffs going. The towns can’t upgraded because the stations are already maxed. They’ve also have been winning every invasion in EF.
Server is dieing. We desperately need bodies. You have invasions procing on same night and we cant even fill them. Our server is in such bad shape as a result of failure to add new blood. Could be great again…
You’re lying.
Ebonscale - Full T5 when Demons lost it a few weeks ago. 6 T4s now, they’ve been letting it rot. They raised housing taxes as well. 0 buffs as of the time of this post.
BW - Full T5 when Swole lost it a few weeks ago. 3 T4s now. No townboards going. They’re letting it rot. 2 current buffs, one expiring by the end of the day. Plenty of income to cover upgrades, taxes, and run buffs. Raised housing and trading taxes. They are currently tied for the highest on the server with MD.
MD - Full T5 when Swole lost it a week or 2 ago. 8 T4s now. They’re letting it rot. No townboards going. H&H as the only buff, it expires in 4 hours. They jacked the taxes to max for over a week after they got it, they recently slightly knocked the housing/trading taxes down. Still the highest on the server with BW. Went from an outer town generating 1.5M/week to not breaking 100k because of rot and taxes.
EF like I said is fine.
I have numbers. Tell me again how it’s untrue.
Again, if you’ve actually been playing you would know that BW just had an invasion which resulted in a loss and that’s why there are T4s. Maybe more people should show up for invasions as the only people even willing to do them are the people from the company that owns the territory.
How was I lying when I stated MD has been let go of. The only people spending any coin in that territory in the first place was SWOLE. The taxes have since been decreased but there is no incentive to increase the stations or to defend against the invasions especially since the town is now losing coins.
You clearly don’t understand how territories and the game in general works. The reason why you would want to upgrade a town to T5 stations after others already have them is to serve the company that owns the territory. The point isn’t to have every town upgraded to T5. Especially when you consider that in the upcoming update the fast travel costs have been almost eliminated. Therefore, the only purpose that having T5 stations in every town is to remove coins from the economy. Which is probably a bad thing considering that the dev’s have increased the amount of coins coming into the game’s economy each update. It seems as if they are doing this because there more deflation than inflation.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and for the impact this has had on your experience. Thank you for your patience and understanding. ![]()
You’re lying when you said they were the only town that had increased taxes, that BW has low taxes, they all have buffs going, and they can’t be upgraded because they’re maxed. In other words, almost everything you wrote.
Just admit you’re from Valhalla and admit you guys came over and dodged fights there to try and fuck over Eden. We heard your reputation for it long before you clicked the transfer buton lmao. I’ve been on Eden since day 1, have been in companies that have owned nearly every territory on the map at 1 point or another, and have played nearly every day.
BW was generating 850k/week as a T5 maintained city, profiting 750+k. Similar numbers in Ebon. Unless they don’t want free money every 7 days by doing next to nothing. Valhalla people sure as hell seem to have plenty of members when it comes time for wars, and even more to talk shit in chat during them. Because they choose to log on to do that. Which is fine. But they are also choosing to throw invasions (aside from EF).
MD lost coin because they immediately jacked taxes to maximum, immediately stopped paying upkeep taxes and immediately stopped defending from invasions. Nobody’s going to have a house there when housing tax was at 20%, or trade when the tax was 25%, or craft when both of them are (still) at 3.0. On top of not being able to craft T5 stuff.
People server-wide had no problem using it before to the tune of $1.5 MILLION in the week before they lost it. And no, the members of Swole alone didn’t have 847 housing units, 150,000 trades, 125,000 crafts, and refine 5.3M items. (Along with another 661/95,000/75,000/3.2M in BW which they owned at the same time). Remember, everyone can see the ledger buddy, you really can’t lie about these things. ![]()
You clearly don’t understand how territories and the game in general works. The reason why you would want to upgrade a town to T5 stations after others already have them is so that you too can generate money, not just EF and WW. Especially when you consider that it worked to roughly the tune of 3.2ish million dollars each week between ER, BW, and MD
How about next time you reply in dms instead of continuing your rant on this thread. Again you have no idea of how an economy works. It’s interesting how when you mentioned the amount MD and BW were earning per week you didn’t include the breakdown of where that money was coming from.
First off let’s take a look at what the towns stations are currently at.
- EF- Maxed
- Windsward- Maxed
- CK- Almost max, upgrades ongoing.
- BW- Almost max, upgrades ongoing. Previous invasion wasn’t “thrown”, it was lost with 30 seconds left. I personally was there trying to get more people to show up, but its hard with people wanting to play other games and invasions being generally unrewarding and not fun.
- ER- Mostly T4, upgrades ongoing.
- MD- Almost all T4, exceptions: Outfitter and Smelter.
- FL- Mix of T4 and T5, exceptions: T2 Workshop, T2 Kitchen.
There are multiple factors that you are completely omitting. The most important being server population. Between January and February New World has seen a large decrease in player count and activity. So let’s compare the main territories in Eden alongside the concurrent player count.

Here’s an imgur link containing all the data from Eden.
Again, there’s a few things to note with this data. Obviously I can’t compare income from different territories on the exact same dates. For the January income I took a date around the 20th and for the February income I took dates from around the 5th. Also note that these include the previous week’s income. If the date says the 20th its including income between the 13th and 20th. Lastly there has been issues with housing, recently the dev’s gave out a free extension on housing which will skew the amount earned from property taxes. The most noticeable is Windswards going from 1,427 houses earning 919,860 to 38 houses earning 6,017. This explains most of Windswards loses. Since housing is messed up let’s remove it.
As you can see most territories have seen a decline with the exceptions of Monarchs Bluff and First Light. They weren’t earning much anyways so who cares. Upgrading to T5 does not mean a territory will suddenly be a hotspot or generate more coins. The only reason why you would want to upgrade is to make a home territory for the company that owns it. This is why Monarchs generated so much while on other servers it doesn’t.
The majority of Mourningdale’s income was from Trading Tax, which was heavily invested in by Marauders. Mourningdale was going to lose coins either way. What incentive does a company have to upkeep another territory? It’s more likely that the people in Mourningdale will just use another Town owned by the company that captured it. Now let me address some of the other stuff you’re saying more specifically.
Just admit you’re from Valhalla and admit you guys came over and dodged fights there to try and fuck over Eden. We heard your reputation for it long before you clicked the transfer buton lmao.
I have two characters, one on Valhalla and now one on Eden. I made a character on Eden after everyone from Valhalla decided to transfer over. I didn’t really care to transfer over but I could understand the reasoning, which was to seek PvP with different companies. I have no idea what you are talking about when you say “dodged fights”, the players that transferred over already had a strong hold over their territories. As far as reputation I don’t think Epherium or Aggression have bad reps. I for one try to stay out of the toxicity that was the Valhalla Vs. Eden shit going on in Global Chat. That was probably the reason why Valhalla companies decided to max taxes as soon as they took over a territory. But since then they have decreased the taxes.
You clearly don’t understand how territories and the game in general works. The reason why you would want to upgrade a town to T5 stations after others already have them is so that you too can generate money, not just EF and WW.
Again, you clearly don’t understand how the economy and game work. Lets say there’s X amount of items to be refined and crafted. All you’re doing by upgrading more towns to T5 is potentially splitting the income [X/(Amount of Territories)]. If a company takes over another town but already owns the main crafting town all they achieve by upgrading is increase the amount they have to pay in taxes.
not only is this a content issue for those who remain but its becoming an economic issue… nothing is selling and because nothing is selling people are running broke and not able to do as much content. its soon going to be me logging on- doing my daily cooldown and logging out praying for a transfer to occur… at a time where a new mmo is out it would be an excellent decision to merge servers into valhalla. its one thing for a game to be slowing down in population, but its another for the developers to be unprepared. in a perfect world this would have been picked up and fixed back to a healthy before it becomes unhealthy. from one of the biggest servers in US EAST to practically dead. peak population should never be below 1500 and thats being generous. @Luxendra @Kay help us please <3
Still no reply from devs… yikes
Notice how we went from “Valhalla isn’t toxic and hasn’t raised taxes, or had cities downgraded” to “It’s just a dead game move to EF/WW lul” in 4 posts flat.
Valhalla companies took over territories with the intention to let them rot. That’s what your reply is. I’m glad we can agree.
Steam charts don’t mean people quit Eden. As a matter of fact, Eden got an pretty sizable INFLUX of people between those 2 dates because of… wait for it… Valhalla transfers. That’s literally what this thread is about. Your base premise is inherently flawed.
I never said it was a dead game, and I never agreed that Valhalla companies were letting territories rot. Your reading comprehension must be quite low. I’m simply stating that the decrease in population on New World AND Eden have caused a significant decrease in all territories income. I can assure you that Valhalla companies did not take over territories with the intention to let them rot. This is a complete lie that you have fabricated from your own delusional perspective. The only exception to this is Mourningdale, which was let go of due to a good reason. So again, to help with your comprehension that’s one territory (Singular) that has not been maintain since there was no benefit in doing so. As far as the other territories such as BW, EF and Ebonscale; Why would a company take over a territory only to receive no benefit from owning it? You do realize that Valhalla players can not transfer back. They have to craft, trade, and own houses somewhere.
You’re right, Steam charts for all of New world don’t reflect a specific server. So let’s think back to when Valhalla actually transferred over.
- Sunday, January 16th is when people started transferring.
- Everfall was taken the 23rd.
The server population was ~1400 people during the week between the 16th and the 23rd. Ever since then New World and Eden have seen a decline in the amount of concurrent players. So much so that Eden specifically most recently peaked at ~750 concurrent players.
Now you can go look at my previous post more carefully and realize how incorrect you are. Finally, for the accusations of only Valhalla players being toxic. Ever since I made a character on Eden people constantly insulted Valhalla players. Saying they were cringe, bad at the game, and losers. Constantly spamming in global how Eden companies were better and that no one on Eden should interact with them in anyway. As for the people that I tend to play with we typically keep out of most in game interactions. I personally always have global, faction, and area muted. Most importantly I don’t try to shit on other players for just playing the game.
Same with Abaton and Hellheim … with 30k players peak in EU they can just make 18 servers …
The dead game was a paraphrase of how you complained that nobody helps BW defend invasions and your excuse of that’s why they’re rotting. I didn’t say you agreed - I framed the scope of the conversation.
So again, to help with your comprehension that’s one territory (Singular) that has not been maintain since there was no benefit in doing so.
Ebon now has 3 T4s and 3 T3s
BW is now up (down) to 5 T4s, which is nearly as bad as MD (8 T4s)
I can assure you that Valhalla companies did not take over territories with the intention to let them rot. This is a complete lie that you have fabricated from your own delusional perspective.
Finally, for the accusations of only Valhalla players being toxic. Ever since I made a character on Eden people constantly insulted Valhalla players. … … … … …
Oh ye of little knowledge. The first dozen or so “transfers” came over a week or 2 earlier with new characters they intended to level. They were talking shit at that time as level 20s, how Eden players sucked, how their plan at the time was to level up to 60 and beat Eden’s best with faction gear, how they were going to take over the entire map, and kill the server. How do I know all this? Because I read global chat, where they broadcasted their intentions. This isn’t some 17D interdimensional chess match.
Bruh the Valhalla companies aren’t on NW right now because of LA. We aint tryna let it ROT. You’re just a upset nobody.
Are you the Worship that was on Demons?

Those players were from Covenant on Valhalla. The rest of Valhalla did not transfer over at the time in-part because they did not want it to appear as if they were with them. Those first few then stop leveling and quit the game completely.
And you are? Right, another nobody, but with a bad attitude.
I completely agree. This server has hard time selling any trading, opr and invasions… even the downgrades keeps happening as there’s no upkeep as alot of other players have moved to a different server
