I was someone who lost the gear i think AGS did a good job
The first day after update is so important for any mmo not being able to play on day 1 is what the compensation amount was for
And i can say this is a good move for future too
I last played Oct 14th. Can I have 50k tokens?

not being able to play 1 day LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL first of all it was a Balance Patch in case you dont play or you are not even familiar with new world updates… second you dont need you gear to play the game i’m sure of that, so much stuff to do if you dont have you pve or pvp gear on, or event if it was harvesting or fishing gear ( yes it was only the gear equipped) its not fair you guys got 50k tokens it’s not, i can see by far that you didn’t play the game for long time, while others like me was here every single day
They can play though.
I mean really they should get compensated. 50k marks is a lot though imo haha.
I mean most of these people died and then rage quit…+ bug and that’s what happened

it’s Very Very Wrong for the ones like me was here every single day keeping the game alive, while this my friend didn’t log in the game for at least 2 months lol and it was a Balance Patch so some gear was garbage already, plus the GAME i’m sure they will give this ppl the Gear back… so you will have gear back plus 50k Tokens… that’s not fair for all the real enjoyers of New World, to be like that give 50k Tokens to everyone in the game
they were fast to do a patch… because I was already imagining ppl killing the character and logging off the game to lose gear and get 50k Tokens LoL

that’s so true… imagine if it was someone full of green gear and now will have better gear with 50k tones LOL or if they lost a cocking or harvesting gear 
I’m playing from alpha. I don’t care if they got tokens. After all, you can buy them in the in-game store. 
I’ll quote some lvl 44 on my server yesterday.

it’s your opinion, it’s your way to see the point, I don’t agree with that, if they give Coin Currency in the game give them to everyone… players will have the gear back… so I don’t even understand your point defending something here… Are you gonna say as someone said here “because they can’t play on day 1”?! Like… big LOL
I’m not trying to protect anyone. 
As you noticed, I expressed my opinion. I think giving out tokens is fair, that’s all.
I also think that with the amount of bugs we have now, all players could get 10,000 tokens.

Na it was a dumb idea from AGS. I said as much last night on my server then come here seeing a post about the same. They should of given in game items. To give something that was also monetized just pissed alot of people off. Its the concept of it. Piss poor management as usual

Exactly… like giving that 50k tokens it’s so unfair for the ones that are here everyday, if they wanna give something like that… give to every single player, that’s big fault of common sense and respect for the ones that keep the game rolling, i’m 99% sure this ppl that lost gear are the ones that left the game for weeks or months… and the most insane thing here it’s, they will have the gear back LOL just INSANE…

As for this yes 1 day or patch day is important thought u knew stuff guess i was wrong just for ur knowledge the last brimstone patch in the first 2 days i made like 700k gold
Flame cores were selling over 1k ea human ward and Bane were selling over 10k human idol was selling for 70-80k it’s less than 1/3 of that price
i get that u are just sad and angry u didn’t get the tokens
And I’m just wishing they do this everytime AGS makes a mistake sure 50k is a lot but it do is a step in right direction and AGS doesn’t know middle ground for anything
