I created a character and made a mistake picking a server that seems dead. Are there any recommendations to pick a server that has a bit of life too it? I see a few MED and a whoooole bunch of low.

I found that. I guess I’m asking whether there is a known server that is populated much of the time and not just in the moment.
Unfortunately, the current # of active players at a given time is the best you can use. Any server that has more than 1k active players at any point during the day is going to be a good bet. However, be aware that you’ll face queue times if you choose a server that is near the concurrent player cap.

Transferred to Eden a few weeks ago, active server although Covenant seems to be starting to dominate.
what region are you in?
all the servers that you see up top are the most popular for that region. (regardless of the time you play)
NA west: el dorado is 1st followed by camelot. at 1am el dorado will still have more players than camelot.
