Yesterday i got chosen to defend a town against monster attack event.
I port in as usual, and when i get in, the leader of the faction that has ownership of the town says that he will kick anybody in the BG that actually tries to fight the monsters.
He told us that if we let the monsters just win the town got downgraded less than if we fought.
So he would kick anybody that fought.
If this is true, i cant understand who actually found this up? It should be the other way around right? i mean what the actual &%¤?
So if we manage to not loose before round 7, we get rewarded by getting the town downgraded more than if we loose in round 1 ?
Anyway, i whatched the monsters take down the doors, then the controlpoint, i got my 450G and 250 Azoth, and where out of there.
No Downgrades are random. Comes from a Reddit post where someone saw many downgrades from getting high in waves and a few downgrades from instant loss.
However, there is very little benefit to actually letting the invasion play out if you cant guarantee a WIn which very rarely happens. So the most time-efficient tactic for reward is to just let it insta fail.
Unless amazon implements a sliding scale of reward for progressing waves in all honesty your better off just letting it end ASAP. Until you can start getting full 60 groups with 580+ GS.
Yes with no sliding scale of reward for progressing waves. Everyone is better off standing still and just letting it end. Until people are geared enough to guarantee Win
Ideally what it should be is the more you progress the fewer downgrades you get. And the further you progress the more gold+ loot boxes. tokens and azoth you get. Without this Its pointless to waste time trying to defend an unwinnable Mode.
I dont understand, cleared up what?
Have they changed the system to give rewards depending on how far you make it or have they informed that its random?
That’s why I’m not rushing off to a high pop server. These events give the most cash infusion nightly if you’re not farming to sell. I get in to 2 or 3 events an evening normally.
Same But Nah. High pop servers are suffering from Deflated Economy. Sure things are cheap but getting gold to buy them is hard especially when most of what you getting goes into tax and crafting costs.
Gold sellers taking towns to suck up gold to sell back.
Small chance of getting into events.
I’m going to hold on to my transfer token for later. Atm, it’s more beneficial to be on a lower pop server.
The server economy on my low pop server is actually terrible.
Everybody is undercutting everybody nonstop at the marketplace.
You cant sell much because people are mostly broke, and the raw materials cost nothing.
Its a 2 faction server, where all trade is centralised in Windward and Everfall wich both are owned by Covenant. (Im Syndicate and we are low pop one area only)
I will miss the money the 2-3 events a day gives me, but i wont miss this server.
Ill move, and if it doesnt work out on new server ill quit.
