Agreed, there are far from enough mutator orbs. Almost impossible to hit level 10 when you only have 2-3 guaranteed orbs for yourself and it can be very hard to find other people to join who both have a key AND are at the same level difficulty as you.
The fees for joining mutations have already doubled from yesterday and it’s only gonna keep going up
The lack of orbs is also creating division between players/company.
Seriously need to be able to gain more Mutation Orbs. Even if the costs scales up.
OR… make them BOE and sellable on the Trading Post. This will allow those that want to do Mutations, to be able to run more. Other players gain coin and can farm the content they enjoy. And it will help clear up Global chat which has turned into three things. WTS item spam, WTB Mutation spam and gold spam.
Yeah Same here, My friends and I have been really exciting for the mutated and right now we’re stuck in M7 as well.
The orb is hard to find even m1-m3 and it doesn’t worth for our GS btw also the price is expensive. Right now our team has only 1 orb left. Even though I know they’re limited this in case the players is rushing hard but there’s nothing to be fun as mutated anymore.
Can the dev just delete the limitation per week? It’s ridiculous that this game has orb sellers around the world.
More craftable orbs would be a great idea. On top of giving you more runs inside of these I don’t think anyone running mutators is going to be doing regular Lazarus or Genesis for these expeditions anymore so this could fill the void of Corrupted Lodestone coming in and out of the economy.
Just throwing some ideas around but getting gold rank could also allow you to skip a tier. Requiring less orbs per week to climb the tiers allowing more for the higher ranked tiers.
My point still stands, you have 10 orbs every week. 10 levels to progress through every week. Ideally you want to repeat the level 10 run a couple times so you can upgrade all your gear sets a little bit every week and not just the dungeon set. Now let’s count the gear sets. Ancient ward set, angry earth ward set, corrupted ward set, lost ward set, pvp set 1, pvp set 2. You see what I’m getting at?
You don’t even know if these things are required. They will of course be helpful. But seriously, Next week most groups will probably start at level 1 around GS 608-610. They’ll fly through the first 4 or 5 mutators. And next week they’ll all probably elike 613-615. And so on an so forth. Really good teams might get through all 10 next week. I think a few people made it this week.
I see your point and yes while the ward might not be required, it definitely is if your GS isn’t the recommended by the level, I can tell you this because we completed M9 with gold last night with 618 average group GS.
Realistically you’re not going to have 1 set of gear for everything though, your pvp sets, the new gear you buy and need to upgrade, it costs a lot of shards to upgrade a piece when you reach the higher GS and once you reach around 620 GS, you will be able to upgrade at most 2 pieces per week because the lower level mutators give an useless amount of shards.
IMO Faction Mutator Orbs should not have a limit/cool down or how many you can purchase.
In the live interview where they discussed Mutators they said they wanted to make them more accessible and have people do multiple per day.
Unless I have a dedicated group that all buy/craft Orbs to run together doing multiple runs per day can be hit or miss. Faction quests not only push endgame but could use more incentive.
Worst case let us sell/trade Orbs. Last patch added the ability to sell/trade most of the stuff and people find a work around in game to sell all the group slots on Orbs anyway. Current system just makes it inconvenient to sell them.
