It seems that RNG is trolling me at hard levels… still 505 on expertise, but thanks to gipsys.
Same here - did a world tour, got 10+ BB drops total and no expertise bump. Will try running some dungeons today and see.
This has been my experience through the entire expertise system. Drops are random. Getting the bump from a drop is also random. People keep saying it only takes 1.5 to 2 weeks now from scratch are full of it.

i did m10 dynasty and went 519 from 506. and yesterday went to 506 only doing mines run

I received 1 bump of +3 (I think) running the Chest World Tour last night. I received 2 bumps of +4 each crafting around 15 Blunderbuss
Feel sorry for newer players that have to level up every slot just to be remotely competitive and then each weapon. Any new players or returning players they gain, will likely quit trying to make it through the grind.

I did the world tour and got 15 blunderblusses. Final expertise was 505…which was one bump.
