I can see this as exploitable. Dont like musket players? Have everyone block musket players. Dont like fire mages? Have everyone block all the fire mages.
Plus there are people that think everyone cheats even if they arent. Its not fair to that person to miss out on matches because one person might have that person blocked.
Maybe no one wants to play some of the best players on the server… just block em.
The answer to the problem is to find real cheaters and actually take action on them.

Has nothing to do with like or not like musket players - if you guys actually read the stuff I post, I’m a spear/musket…
No toxic stuff, this is honest feedback/request, please don’t reply if you have nothing good to say other than “git gud” or things of that sort.
Nobody likes to play with cheaters.
I dont think you understand what I am saying. What you are asking for could lead to that type of exploit/abuse. People that dont like a specific player or specific role type or whatever can simply just block the person whether he is cheating or not.

Valid point, but let AGS figure that part out? All I’m doing is providing some feed back and would appreciate it if you or anybody stop keep providing “oh what if this” what if that. There’s always what ifs. Let AGS figure that out.

But im just providing feedback to your feedback. I wont give you what ifs then. Ill just give you a I think its a bad idea. If AGS could figure out all the answers then they wouldn’t need feedback at all. That answer to your problem is to report cheaters, let them get investigated, and if they are cheating then they should get banned.
Don’t worry, I will stay out of your thread now. This pretty much has no chance of every happening anyhow.
Do you have any actual proof they cheating? Or are you just salty that they beat you ROFL.

Not everyone who beats you is cheating.
Other games will not put blocked players into your group.
Probably there aren’t enough players to make OPR pop if they did so here.
So just like every other game with PvP group finder population issues, they force matches resulting in bad experiences just to make the queue pop. But those bad matches cause people to leave the queue entirely, further reducing the population.
However even if they did block players this way, the OPR group size is simply too big and it might never pop due to too many Blocks on too many players, except for premades big enough to form both sizes of the match.
Remember that people don’t just block cheaters, they block asshats and people they don’t like as well. The pool size would have to be pretty vast, and well, even with cross-server matching that’s no longer New World.
If you don’t like playing with cheaters, I recommend you just stop playing. When engagement numbers go down and queues stop popping, AGS will have to actually get off their ass and do more about cheaters and exploiters.

If enough ppl report him/them they get banned, so just keep doing it if you are sure that person uses aimbot. Althogh, I wouldn’t be surprised. It is very easy to buy one.,
Thing is, I’m sure he isn’t sure but just salty.

Good point, but there’s got to be a better solution than just quit OPR altogether… I have fun in OPR, just whenever there’s obvious cheaters it makes it hard not just for me, but for I’m sure a lot of people - they just don’t take it to the forums. In a way, I’m representing their voice as well.

They DO ban cheaters. I have seen them banning aimbotters for a few weeks.
Maybe there are less of them than you think.
You know…not everyone who hits you with a musket is an aimbotter.
There have been a fair few or still are, but definitely way less than most people think.
And as I said: there def. have been bans.
There are other exploits too…people that run 2-3 times as fast as everyone else.
People you hit for 5K and they still are full hp
People with a “thin” model that you can barely hit, super tiny hitbox.
And other stuff.
