Not recommend this game, also will do negative review on the Steam

Why? Because ppl cheating and abusing bugs in all modes in the game

You don’t want to abuse the hatchet damage stack bug? - you are useless in this game
You don’t want to abuse healing immortality bug? - you are useless in this game
You don’t want to abuse damage reduction bug? - you are useless in this game

Does support something to fix this shit? - no, they did nothing, they did more store skins for you, you can buy if you want

I’ve come awful close to a negative review. I’d turn it positive if they announced fully that they boned the release of this game really hard and have to revert back to a beta/early access stage.

This is not what releases should look like. As customers, we’ve failed, because this is what passes for a finished product in the eyes of the ones calling the shots (devs might be under orders to push it out).

I’m not going to argue that the bugs are good. But to say the release is completely boned is a bit harsh. Every MMO has a rough launch. It sucks, but it is the reality of the things.

Look back on every major MMO that you know, and some that you don’t know, and see the reviews and comments from those times. It’s all the same.

Yes it could be argued that Amazon should have known the history and done better. But, again, the reality is even if Amazon itself is a huge company, AGS is still in its infancy as many of its projects never released at all.

This is like saying anyone who today wants to develope a new car has to re-invent the wheel on his own.
You can rely on information that are from past experience, and it is smart to do so in many regards.
It saves time. It saves money. It makes customers happy.

I addressed this in my post as well.

We could also use the argument that if you read about a job you should just inherently know how to trouble shoot and operate in that position because you read about past failures.

You still need to take the punches and make the mistakes to realize- even if you understand them fundamentally.

If this gaming studio was not tied by name to Amazon would people still react this way? Probably not.

And this is how people start normalizing the release of unfinished products…

The bugs aren’t at fault here, I understand bugs are part and parcel.

Exploits capable of drastically altering the game, however, should never make it to a live release, and certainly shouldn’t have so much purchase after being reported.

I think the issue is at this point, to solve those exploits would involve a rebuild, and that would probably be the point at which the project just gets unplugged.

It’s not that I think the devs suck or aren’t doing anything, it’s that their foundation to work from in the first place is so deeply flawed.

There does not exist nomenclature that would have me excusing gamebreaking exploits in a PVP-focused game. The player experience is the selling point and it’s constantly being assailed.

If this is what passes as a good product on launch for us, it only gets worse and goes down from here, and say whatever you like-- I have absolutely no intention of backing down from this point.

I haven’t even touched on the report abuse here in this post, either, which is another issue entirely capable of capsizing the game all on its own. Especially when AGS’ knee-jerk reaction is to defend themselves and throw blame instead of accepting responsibility.

And then there’s the way their support team treats players.

Unfortunately, it’s strictly because this isn’t just about a few defunct passives and a bunk weapon skill that this comes out as capable of sinking the game. That’s my take, right or wrong, after seeing games try and try again to enter this market.

I’m just saying as a basis for doing so, this sucks and won’t hold for the long-term.

The game is a ½ finished pile of garbage

Really? The devs look quite stubborn and inexperienced to me. They simply refuse to learn from mistakes made by other MMOs in history. They literally copy and paste mistakes made in other MMOs which were patched out a long time ago.

Bland, unpolished, rough around many edges et still addictive, and fun to play.

People give feedback hoping that the developers will listen and give their best to fix the issues.

I don’t understand the role of people attacking and mocking the ones who give constructive feedback.

Why would you try and suck into big Corporate asses?

Indiestudios are much more reliant on a polished product because they only have their first impression and not the chance of doubting.

Did this weeks ago when AGS poor action basically led to more and more cheating and exploitation.

Don’t let players discover the rampant cheating and exploitation going on before it is too late to get a refund.
They can buy the game months later IF AGS does something about cheaters and exploiters.

okay bye  can i have your gold?

Some games really do deserve a positive review and this game does not deserve one yet but when all the exploits are fixed maybe, probably not even with fixes even though customers come back after negative experinces.

I fundamentally disagree, but even if true does not excuse those bad launches.

I miss the good old days of when if a game sucked, people didn’t buy it. Cause the game was on a disc, it was done, there’s no going back. So studios were under a healthy amount of pressure to get the game right, the first time.

These days games can be updated. At first glance, that seems good, but what do we all do now? Now we all buy bad games and wait for them to become good games.

Its holidays, they just got back to work, why not spend time with your family instead of being angry in a game glitch

I Demand to speak to someone’s Manger! = Just do what everyone is doing stop playing until they fix the issue’s. I know that the game is a shambles but getting really upset changes nothing.
