I posted some time ago where I talked about getting into the game as new player or old returning ( LONG POST you have been warned )
First my English it s not my native language.
So here is it again
The items in the game are way to RNG
In any mmo u can camp something raid something pvp something and get bis or almost bis etc that’s why they are called expansion packs
Players grind to get the best and then looks etc and they show of the end game gear and this give the other players some blood 
to go for it
But in new world it’s different
I have points I want to make
First we need to talk gold and trade
And this is most important as for the majority of the player base in new world
Most big guild leaders make so much gold that they can easy buy anything they want
I talked about this some months ago
I was right, I been talking to a lot of players at all levels
The items on some servers cost way to much some items can easy cost 200-400k for one item
So what is my problem well the game is way to RNG
First point I wanna make
-
Crafting blows
( u need three houses three totems the big ones cost around 45-50k for one ) -
when u craft you need to farm thousands of hours or pay a lot for crafting materials

And then if u are in lucky
you get a bis item
( but the chance for that are so low it’s mind boggling)
And also think how much money you use to get your skills to 200 and time
And find out with Armor gear and food you can only craft 575-600 with the best materials
And the chance to get 600 way to low as well for stats And peaks
Again RNG
My next topic is pvp
To have a chance in competitive pvp u need good gear any knows this
The pvp track blows only 2-4 items worth going for, so with an over power ring 
one ring to rule them all ! 
- Ring mortal empowerment
- Refreshing or other depends what you’re playing.
- Something
50k to 200k or more and it it’s a over power ring with 2% x 15 stacks most players will never 
get a chance to ring like this with the right peaks but a purple ring dos not cut it
Why do I say this?? Yes my friend,
before there was items that boss dropped so when I get a item from a boss
And ring or weapon people was so happy 
now it seems only small % of items what are even worth camping
For me I check trade more in I wanna camp a boss or even my M10 runs 99% of the time just trying to sell or just disenchant items for stuff
Most of them are useless
It’s not like in the old days where we ran laz over and over again to get the bow or other and people was happy to get they new boss drop gear
Now it’s just meh
Who wants to take laz bow into pvp
And u buy pay or luck or use all you gold on a trade to get a Attu - enchanted - Keeley overpowered or other bis peaks
The only reason I run m10 is for friends and shards I do all 25 mutated m10s any week and not yet I had an item I like YES!!! GET it 
So again to RNG

I am so sorry this is a long post 
Next is for the new players I talk to, a lot of them,
always ask me nice armor where is it from is that corrupted ward armor ?
Yes I say and talk to them and they say ooh never mind , then they say I am only m4 and there no tank around or hard to find players
So they are stuck in progression
Again to RNG
And think about it
U need
- Corrupted. ward
- Lost ward
- Nature / ancient ward
And u need to level them to 623 625 or no chance u get into a m10 maybe if you are healer
I know u can get into a guild and get help etc be part of community
But it’s like 80% players in new world are solo playing for most in my experience I been on 5 servers from beta
A lot players just run m1-3 and move on
Some times we wait 20+ mins to get a person to
M10 why people don’t have the requirements and gear
Again to RNG
So I am almost done
I hope you understood what I was trying to say let me know if there some mistake or something did no make sense
But don’t be rude or troll 
I just wanna say dear developers keep or the good work but I hope u understand this or see how it is
Especially for players who don’t have 400k to max gold
To summon it up
Way to much RNG on items and how to get it
The good thing in EQ or even New world some boss drop good items like the hatchet 
but nerfed now no one is camping 
it
Or earring from the dog 
etc
I hope new big content have items worth going for that’s why people raid in other games to get the bis gear they can use or pvp 27/7 to get they main gear etc
