Nov 18 patch, New Elite mobs too tough

Ill start by saying that I understand why you made elite mobs harder to kill. Player are farming them to easily and getting drops that make progress too fast and you are trying to slow it down, i get it. But as someone who solo grinds the game and doesnt have time to wait for a party to grind an area. This makes some quests/activities impossible. I almost dont want to play the game. I understand you are trying to make things more group oriented, which is cool. But as someone who enjoys the game but doesnt have time to organize a group this makes it hard. Also being on a low pop server makes it even harder. I amlost think waiting to implament the higher health pools would have been better to wait till you did mergers. Sometimes it takes days to find groups on low pop servers and I already used my free transfer… idk how you can fix this but I hope you either make it a. easier for solo players or b. bring server mergers faster so i dont have to wait a few days to a week to find people that want to do one little quest like i do. that is all, thank you for coming to my ted talk

I agree on this. With servers being as low pop as they are and it now taking forever to kill an elite, the risk of things respawning and killing you as you try kill more plus pvp flag for luck and the heal nerf I feel it’s too much.

Then the loot was also stealth nerfed so it’s so much work for less reward that honestly, it makes the game less fun and more grindy and it sucks.

The buff to these elite mobs was way too much, did they need to be stronger? Yes, by this much? Absolutely not. Additionally, the lower population servers, ie, 80% of them can’t pull together enough groups to take these guys on. They just created a massive endgame problem.

Way overpowered.

Husband and Wife team here. We’ve settled for just roaming the world and not being able to progress through the idiotic Expedition requirements. But we were totally capable of having a good time, with some care, fighting through most of the normal content including level 60 elites and such.

With this new buff to elites, MUCH of that content is now completely out of reach. Getting jumped by 2-3 elites in Mourningdale for instance, either takes forever to clear or just flat out wipes us from way overpowered damage.

Yea IKR, “git gud”. But no. Things were fine the way they were; wtf is this?

I feel that the recommend party size should be changed from 5 to 10. It’s a struggle. Especially when a elite mob has slicer with the current healing changes. I’m having to consume 70 mana pots just to heal through all of eternal pool, sirens, mines and mryk in the mountains. Was the difficult increased for the elite mob due to motivating people to use honing, food buffs, and tinctures more?

I fixed my mana usage problem just use void gauntlets.

Agreed. I cruise the world with my son, but taking on elites requires so much more time now just to try and survive (we are not 60’s yet). We did depths Wednesday using his orb no issues. Did it again last night with mine and we barely scraped through the final boss and it took twice the time just fighting him with a better outfit group. It just mad running solo harder, in a dwindling server population.

What this patch has done… is ended solo adventuring.

Spliato Caverns in Shattered Mountains good example. Heavy Armor, Great Axe with Ancient Bane and Brilliant Topaz. Last week I could solo the Faction Quest, it was not easy but it was doable. After the patch I can barely kill one mob at a time before they kill me first.

The named level 62 silver elite, which I barely killed before he killed me last week, TWO shots me now with 9800 hitpoints in heavy armor

So now I can’t solo, content to complete faction quests, that just last week I could. How is this change made? How is this change made, without putting it in patch notes? How is this change made without testing? Why make solo faction questing IMPOSSIBLE, yet not allow us to share quests to get help from others so they can get Coin/Tokens and Reputation?

Husband and wife team here. We’re both lvl60 and running the 580 weapon quest for the Hatchet

Well we got to Scorpius in morning dale firstly the tenticals just spammed knock down.

Then you have the Hellmouth flesh walls seriously 10mins of clicky spamming who gave them so much health, in what way does it make the game better!? I was hitting it for 750 damage per swing. Then we got inside another wall and another 10mins #facepalm clicking simulator.

In the whole time we were there on a high pop server there were no other players compared to before where there would always be a few other players. I feel sorry for any lvl50’s trying to run that because un-like a lvl60 they are going to be pullling all kinds of agro.

I had seen people soloing a lot of the really strong elites and had just decided I wanted to figure out a good build to do that as well since it looked fun. Curbstomped by the first priest corrupted I came across. Their grit self heal out heals my full glass cannon dps build with perfect dodging.

That is correct. You meatballs broke something that wasn’t broken before you touched it. Now I have even less to do. I logged on earlier today and since none f my regular friends were on, I simply logged off.

If you hadn’t broken this, I could have at least made some progress on my weapon quests by killing some Periville mobs. Now I am level 60 and a level 30 elites is BORING to kill because it is so time consuming.

Don’t make existing content harder, instead give us NEW content. Why oh why change something that nobody is complaining about? Instead you could be fixing real bugs. Some new project management is in order here.

I agree. I pretty much only solo, and I have so many quests for Elites that are supposedly 10 levels below me and they smack me down instantly. Add to that, the non-elite quests that are bugged and not completable and the game is fast becoming unenjoyable.
