I’m a Fire Mage… While I feel quite impotent on damage right now, I’ve played about 25 OPR’s since the Into The Void patch. I’ve NEVER not gotten contribution credit… WTF are you doing that you’re not getting credit?
I think the lowest contribution I’ve ever gotten was in the 3k range.
How little do you have to be doing to not get 500 pts? This is a good change to try and combat blatantly AFK players…so…

Look at it from the other side. Until these 500 points were entered, half of the players just went to get gold. They stood on the spawn and did nothing. As a result, the matches ended in 5-7 minutes with a dry victory of one or the other team.
It’s actually very easy to get 500 points. If you can’t recruit them in PvP, go kill 5 wolves, skin them, chop 80 wood and collect 60 metal. Use these resources to build a tower in your outpost and build a gate. All this will take 5 minutes, and you will earn about 1000 points from these actions.
I’ve had the issue of no rewards a couple of times, but generally only when.it drops me into an in progress match onto a team that is already 3 capped and actively being spawn camped (thanks for that matchmaker).
In a normal match when I am there from the start 500 is an easy number. If it goes south fast I just focus on at least earning my points before it’s over.
Just out of curiosity what is the high point and median range on these oprs ?
The devs responsible for PVP balance are silently killing off this game, faster than any bugs could.
yeah i always go out and just kill mobs and craft stuff , until i get 1k score , then fight if its not a spawn camp match , i dont care , they made a dumb system . and if i was not able to get score
with mobs and outpost upgrading i would not play it at all , this will never be balanced , its just impossible rip nw systems .
Cool so half the team does PvE to get their score up then goes AFK leaving the PvP players to get trapped in spawn unable to get rewards.
I’ve had 4 OPRs say that I didn’t contribute enough because I didn’t kill anyone as I’m mostly harvesting resources, maintaining the fort, destroying the other forts doors and respawn tower. Heck I took a base by myself and got not enough contributions.
Most the time the game doesn’t register what your doing in opr.
Wellllllllllllllllllllllll, maybe if you did some PvP along with your PvE?

Hell, in one particularly abysmal match with a trial loadout and build I sucked with - while at the same time constantly guessing wrong about where people would be and winding up saying “Oh…hi guys!” to groups of opponents I apparently decided to face tank - I wound up with 8 kills, 9 deaths, and only 168k in damage. I still got 1200 points. Just get in there and go for it, don’t worry - at all - about having your head handed to you repeatedly and just have some fun.
I enjoy the other part of it more with the PvP. It’s more satisfying to me to defend a base and to take a base then defend it as well.
Really depends on how quickly the match is finished, I’d say normally around 5000 but I’ve had games where top scores were as low as 2000 and some around 10,000.
I don’t understand the complaint here. I’ve never come close to having only 500 Score. I’m always above the 2,500 minimum.
Can someone explain why it is so hard to get 500 Score in an OPR?
Yes just pvp in opr and don’t focus on objectives that way if you lose you still get contributions
Pretty easy, I was healing my team we ended up with almost perfect score 1000 to 9 but while rest we spawn camping re spawn bit I stupidly went back to fortify areas. Game ended fast and I had not got enough contribution for reward
This. Or find the enemy brute farmer, kill him/her, take their azoth, and get a brute for an easy 500 contributed resources! Lol
I didn’t even know this was a thing… Ive always got rewards just sitting there healing.
I just hit 60 and all I did was pvp in major fights and still got no contributions…
Maybe I dont do enough damage since I am not 600gs but it is ridiculous.

. the system is broken.
Landed 10 kills in a game and still was flagged as not contributibg enough because i joined at the end of the fukin game with 10 lefts.
If i had known joining last minute also flags you for no contribution i wouldve left earlier but you learn as you lose i suppose.
And alot of matches are bugged out for me. Ran6 opr last night and me or the other team would get stuck on terrain unable to play. And you gotta quit opr to rejoin and start over.
It’s dumb.
