New world has INSANE foundations the best in any MMO in the last 15 years.
That and the fact that it has a huge dev team pretty much make it 100% it will survive. There is absolutely no question about.
They can even lose all their playerbase and then release an expansion and get it back whenever they want…

Lotro is still alive and has about 15k playerbase.
It is also one of the best old school MMOs

you have absolutely no clue what you´re talking about so cut the fanboyism please. there was a new lotr mmo planned to go along with the new lotr tv show on prime that will be airing in about 2-3 years. its playing around 3000 years before the lotr books. AGS was supposed to make it in cooperation with tencent but tencent said no.
I played EQ on day 1 and Ultima before that. I work with multiple AAA game developers and publishers in my job.
I’ve been around the block too, I do think you are being overly optimistic.
AGS can listen and course correct based on feedback that is making them bleed customers and significantly decrease their drought or stick their head in the sand and take a long time.
Heading WHY people are stopping playing should be very valuable to them.
So stop giving people shit for providing that data.
