Server cap was not set to 2k for your discomfort. The limit is there to prevent lag, overcrowding certain areas and to ensure a stable economy and that players have a good experience playing the game.
With 2k players there are already areas where you spend 30min to complete a quest because there are no monsters to tag.
We’ve come to a point where people join 20k player queues and complain they can’t play.
It should be up to them to increase the server population but here we are in Amazon’s Queue World…

how my ass burned out when I flew out of the queue 2 times in 4 hours, first from 400th place, then from 11500, when in total I stood for 4-5 hours and then kicks out of the game! Solve the problem with the servers! Give an answer when you can play normally!
Right now I was kicked the second time. Queue again ! Perfect.
All eu server que almost 1,5k to +5k and that silence…from amazon shit
I fully support this petition. 24 hours since launch day, hours and hours of queue.
Amazon said they were ready with new servers, but only NA East and West and Australia are getting new server. Meanwhile, in EU 24 hours later we are fking stuck with 1.000+ players in queue for ALL EU servers.
What the hell Amazon???
as i said before, i try to join the last server, with less queue. The queue system is kinda wierd, because i have 100 player queue, but if no1 leave i stay in queue for hours, if they are 100 or 1000 nothing change if no1 left.

even if it was, there gonna need 200 servers total for eu alone lol. yeah that’s not feasible so the cap needs to be increased
Yo this is pathetic. 1138 people in queue for a server i was on last night and this morning. Do not want to create a new character. Stats page says it is a 5 hour wait.
Queue just bugged for me after i waited more than 2 hours

Why don’t they have something like GW2’s instance handling. Same server with multiple instances to switch between? Was this game developed in the 90s???

trying join game since 10 am, 6 queue errors, and everytime kicked back to 6000th pos.

I was now 2hours in que and now error (bevor starting time 1220 (actally 3200 )–> so will take 5h Cue. How will you play this Game PLz ??? Im very tired of amazone. No statment no fix Nothing. Great repect !!!

At work all day, looking forward to come home an play some New World. Sadly, no improvements from yesterday regarding EU servers. ALL of them are full, ALL of them have minimum 1k people in que.
At least the thought of playing made my day at work better,
i am from belgium and i have yet to be able to connect to a european server, i finish work and by the time i try to connect during primetime i cannot connect before i actually have to go to bed. ironically i am perfectly able to connect to an american server…
i queued up on the first day position 3704 when i was finally in position 898 i got dc’d. that was after being in queue for almost 6 hours. during those 6 hours i couldn’t play anything else on my pc because i was getting errors trying to boot up other games while queued. day 2 i tried to queue but got in a queue number 700, a friend who didn’t manage to get on thse server yesterday managed to get on after being in queue for 3 hours from a 350man queue. what is the point of me queueing up in that case? i’ve been in other mmo launches and i expected queues but not extreme ones that make the game unplayable. the free server transfers even made this worse because whoever logged on the european server to reserve names and guildnames now has a reason to keep playing there, making the problem a persistent one for the remaining two weeks.
so yeah i am also in favor of actually being able to play the game…
