To be honest, I’m living in some sort of bubble … because of COVID .
In all fairness, I’m an old guy. I lived through several major AAA MMO-releases over the years. You name it … WoW, Rift, EQ2 … and so on. They were all rocky, google/whatever search engine and you will see that all of the launches were borked.
What I do agree on, is that they left quite a few of the issues that were reported during Alpha/Betas unadressed (or did remidiate them, only to introduce new bugs). Question is, was this a DEVS/Analyst’s decision (probably not) or a Management decision (probably is).
Anyway, they do need to take care of things … fast. But ‘fast’ is relative because an MMO is probably one of the most difficult things to manage and they don’t have the experience. Just look at the documentary concerning FFXIV or Larian Studios developing DOS2 … some great insights there.
Anyway, enjoy your next game and come back when things are fixed
Yes he paid $40 and he has an amazon account to speak ill of the product he bought.
If the fan base wants him to stop talking, give him back his money.
i pay too and I have many criticisms of how the beta was done. the game is good, but it looks like I paid for the beta.
Someday, if someone ever actually spits in your face, you will realize how childish and immature it sounds to use that analogy when overreacting to a game.
