The amount of time Ive been trolled by a node thats not up but appears to be when youre too far away… this isnt a glitch, seems to be how the game is.
While were at it, can trees far from render distance not look like paper origami on low settings? thanks.
Level of Detail is the term that’s used.
It’s low polygon count from further away and more polygon count (thus more detailed models) as you get closer.
Weird that the nodes still show despite being on cooldown.
Maybe that’s why they have desync.
The server pre-loads everything and removes textures as you travel instead of pre-loading a base and adding as you travel, causing the server to take an overload of data packets sent and received at a base level and only gets worse due to loading THE ENTIRE MAP AND NOT A DUMBED DOWN VERSION.

If the server only had to send and receive packets of a base at all times instead of every little detail the server could have more capacity to keep up with packets and remove desync.
@Zelme please tell me we just fixed desync because a farmer is annoyed by a tree disappearing. ![]()

Honestly, it makes sense. What game do you know has pre-loaded textures that disappear as you travel through the world? It’s usually the opposite.
youre not wrong. I wouldnt be surprised if changing this would alleviate a lot of stress from the servers.
