"Old Amulet" (and Ring and Earring) can't be sold from Apparel tab on auction house

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Players can’t list them on auction house if they don’t know to look under the “All items” tab on the auction house.

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
    1. Get an Old Ring/Amulet/Earring drops from mines, malevolence, etc.
    2. Go to the auction house and click the Apparel tab to try to sell them
    3. The jewelry won’t be listed in your inventory to sell

All of the “Old XXXX” I have seen are BOP.

There are BOE old ring/amulet.
The problem is that they are not listed as apparel.
You can find the old ring/amulet in your inventory and place a sell order.
Problem is that unless you also have one to sell you cannot easily see someone elses sell orders, making buying them hard to impossible.

Ya I’m talking about the one in the image. I only tried searching for them under apparel so I’ll give that a shot and reclassify this bug

Seen a lot of people WTS selling these in chat. The fact that the items are not indexed correctly under apparel is defintely a bug. (there have been other items not indexed correctly and it was fixed)

yeah I have a bunch of unsellable rings as a result of the search issue.

Not only that, but old ring/earring/amulets with a gem socket are bugged and you are unable to actually attach a gem to them:

@HurricaneJames @X1a @aj509 @Enkidoe So instead of clicking apparel you click the 9 buttons and it shows your whole inventory, then sort by lowest and you’ll see your old rings/amulets.

and for people wanting to buy these items from the trading post? it shouldn’t be a convoluted system that requires a bunch of clicking.

They show up normally. People just don’t know how to list them.
