One of the GS developers doesn't know what the weapon does?

The content consumed by the smallest percentage of players in any content of the game? I’m pretty sure “Balance for wars” should be the last PvP balance pass.

I said it was the main competitive content.

Incidentally, it is precisely in medium and large scale pvp that weapons must be balanced. This is an MMO, the game is based on a group of players acting together.

Wanting to balance weapons for small scale pvp or 1v1 is the quickest way to unbalance.

In addition, the devs have been clear that they want to make more players able to access the war and make it something less “elistic”.

I personally just wish the “DPS” function is more with proper CCing. If stuns were stuns and dedicated to the tank role (or have a system that punishes CC Spam properly therefore people can finally forgo CC spells and leave it to the tank/ice mage in group content), then that would help their “DPS” as well as their threat potential.

Simply because it is the only competitive content.

None of the other pvp modalities have ranking or organized dispute.

If the tank archetype can do as much damage as a dedicated DPS than DPS because an obsolete role. Because competitive minded players will just play tank and curbstomp DPSes.

I personally believe New World needs to give each role and archetype a thing they do awesome at, and a big weakness for other roles and archetypes to leverage.

This whole thing, that tanks should be able to almost as much damage as dedicated damage dealers. Just makes tanks highly overtuned and unapproachable.

But the problem is that it’s not really a live, it’s a recorded video, they would have time to fix these things.
