From my memory, they never explicitly said they were working on it. They just slightly acknowledged it in passing.
I doubt they’ve even touched it. Or have plans to. They’ve got other priorities. Which is pretty SAD.
One of the most REQUESTED features has been ignored by the devs from day 1. What is your excuse AGS?

No they definitely did.
It was before they started releasing roadmaps when they had this long list of things in their patch notes or something.

if they are working on it, what does that say about the game?
It takes them months and months to change the color of a spell?
If it takes them that long to do something so simple, how long will it take to add a new opr map? Or do anything else.
I vaguely remember them saying that too but don’t remember the setting.
And the kicker is that they already change our armor colors to red and blue. Something nobody needs or is asking for…
But they cant change spell colors? Uhmmmmmmmm
I remember it. It was a long list of things they are going to change with the december update maybe?
I also remember the same post saying they would change the armor scaling formula and the level scaling. It was the same patch which changed lvl 50 pvp armor from being the best armor in the game to being actually bad low level armor.
They changed more stuff, they also mentioned in the last paragraph they would be adding an animation buffer to attacks. Which was the beginning of the downfall of combat and fluidity.
I remember it so damn well, I had long conversations on discord about it but I have left that discord server. But it has to be out there somewhere, I just cant find it.

I can only assume devs don’t read the forums. They have an ex navy seal moderator who has the mental fortitude to sort through all the hateful posts. But he doesnt actually play the game so he doesnt know what feedback is actually useful.
Thats how I imagine it anyway.
At the end of the day, they just have no excuse.
It should be on the short list of priorities. They should put a dedicated team on it until it gets done.
If any of the devs were gamers they would understand this. And if the game were run by gamers it would have been in the game on day 1.
I really, REALLY think that if they implement this someday, it’ll enable somekind of dupe through an stupid way.
Marketplace disabled for 2 weeks. somehow it causes massive war lag as well. it also somehow causes invulnerability and causes abilities to not go on CD after use. And in the process somehow muskets, firestaff and ice gauntlet can rapid fire.

the pvp community is a very small part of the new world community. you can see this plainly when 1000+ players are on a server and the opr queue has like 28 people.
This is because opr sucks. the pvpers all quit the game again.

if they would quit the forums we’d be in a much better place
thats true. AGS probably shouldnt have advertised their pvp so much. then people wouldnt have invested the time and had all these opinions.
Feel like it goes like this:
“Yeah that’s too difficult to change, hopefully they just forget about that one.”

You people keep calling PvPers to quit and you already lost 900k players and more since launch.
It’s ok if you like to pay for transfers and mine Ori nodes, but we never tried to shit on you to get a better game for us.
Enjoy territory ownership PvE based in 2 months. OH, you can’t fill an invasion already. Though luck.

These are the reasons I can think as to why they have not made this change and all of them are pathetic reasons…

They don’t know how to do it/code it in to the system (which I think is the legit main reason)

They don’t care that we want this change and therefore will not implement a change.

The devs only play PVE and therefore this is not an issue for them so again, they do not care.

Legit there is no reason why this change has not already come in to the game and is yet again another decision by the Dev team that baffles me (and many players I imagine).
They can t do this and they won t …
Just imagine what would happen if blues sees 7-8 red healing circles and they only have 1-2 blue circles ?
They will stop playing and wait for another OPR.
OPR and New World PVP isn t a Moba or FPS shooter with Classes.
how many of those players are bots running common gather and chest routes.
want to know how dead a server is look at the combined opr/Mut ques,
even Wts and yeti events are dead on “active” 1k servers.
if you’re saying the majority of active players left are gather bots then ye I’d agree
