It shows you are a snowflake tbh. I grew up on very toxic games such as COD and when I tell you losing or winning everyone would still talk so much shit and tbh it actually makes the game more fun IMO

I agree 100% it is humans but we know most of these people will not change so why not implement a way to prevent the toxicity in the game with a few lines of code? In a perfect world it wouldn’t be needed but as well know we do not live in a perfect world.
The simple truth is, this is a problem between you and someone else. This has nothing to do with the game. It’s just two or more people bickering amongst each other. You do have options ingame to do things against such behaviour.
You’re also free to complain about it in a forum post as you did - but the fact remains that this is a you problem, so don’t be surprised if people tell you to handle it yourself. It’s equally as personal as if you get in a fight with your parents and then come on here and tell us about it.
I am sure Ive been around games since before you were even considered by your parents (Meridian 59). I am the furthest from a snowflake. I just see the level of toxicity so high now a days it is ridiculous and I agree with you on one point. It is a poor generation we are living in because of that

Im 52 and I it is not a me problem. I havent been directly involved in any of this, but it effects the server as a whole. Not everyone wishes to see this type of poor behavior from people even in a game.
I can tell most of the playerbase never spent anytime in the old COD lobbies.

I mostly use only the group chat, 99% of the other chat is just irrelevant to me and reading it wastes my time.
Global chat has been the most degenerate, toxic, amusing and downright hilarious thing to exist in the longest time.
How do you block two people from talking, but let them queue up for Expeditions together? Factions are just, at it’s core, a broken system
In my honest opionion I would change chat a bit.
- Global - should be limited to like 3-4 messages each hour for most important messages
- Trade - should be introduced to take all sellers
must be a server thing. mine usually doens’t have too much toxic chat. not even when it had around 800 peak players.
How about Area chat?
How about Help chat?
How about Recuitment chat?
Every chat is a global chat with it’s own color.
Probably irrelevant to this topic but this game has an incredible amount of toxic players, some of the sweatiest nerds i’ve ever seen play this title. On the upside it’s been some of the funniest shit i’ve ever read in a game chat.

As there is no Lore reason not to be able to communicate with other fanctions, we can switch fanctions and also party together i found it very bad not to have a general chat for all that will create more problems than solve a thing. The game should not take away players freedom to talk each other because people are toxic.
You can mute every person thats sounds toxic to you, or close the chat completely and leave only fanction chat. The game does well in that regard.

That’s too bad on my server there is trash talk before and after a war but at the end of the day you see people commending one another in victory or good plays seems we have a good server with a lot of good sports , you’ll also see a lot of cross faction helping each other in pve activities. There’s always a toxic few but they only bother you if you let them . It’s game meant to be enjoyed so ignore toxicity and go enjoy yourself. Have a stronger mindset!
