Due to Patch 1.1 I’d like to see a free housing transfer implemented. I say this with the fact that I know many players on my server have one city as the main trading hub. Which was great and a ton of players made that city a home for them due to that. But, with the world market being a thing now i’d like to see the ability of a one time transfer of one house to a location of ones choosing.
This stems the idea that a house’s location is really important and that first house came at a discount which was 50% so if you made that house your home it was 10k (for a large), if you wanted to relocate cause it was just a trading hub and is useless otherwise to you. To change houses would cost you another 20k for a total of 30k. For most players 30k is a lot of coin at the moment so that would take a bit of time to gather.
This would make less popular city’s more appealing then others.
It would be a big mess if you will be allowed to change locations as you desire all the time (for example: every time when taxes will raise) But I agree from time to time it would be nice to have a chance for swap. Like, once a month?
Allowing people to sell their houses (for less than what they paid for it, obviously) would be a much cleaner way of solving that problem. You could then use the money to purchase the new house.
That would be a start for sure, but again. Just a one time transfer from the Old Trade Hub city to a city of your choosing. The trade city is meaningless now or can now easily change since it doesn’t matter.
I mean you talk here about saving 15 or 20k gold . I would like the idea of being able to change house, but you can have 3 houses, cant you just buy second house in new city?

It all stems from the idea that i would never want to leave my trade distract before cause it was the trade hub. Now any place is as good as any to sell rather then the old trade hub.
I wouldn’t make WW my place of choice for a house for my own reasons. I would make it somewhere else. But my server kinda “forced” me to make WW my spot to sell cause its where the most action happened on the market.
