It’s been over a year now since the OPR release and we still only have one map for opr… How is this even acceptable for a game that states its for pvp/pve. All I keep seeing is pve content which is cool I love the Dungeons. But for the love of everything that is great, doing the same opr map every single day multiple times a day gets very very boring. After a year you would think there would be more than just one map…
Most games that come out with battlegrounds usually launch the battle ground with 3+ different maps and mini-games ETC. I love New Worlds pvp but I’m getting very very bored with the same OPR map every single day.
A new opr map is something that ags seems to refuse to want to budge on and they basically said they aren’t giving us a new one anytime soon, unless I’ve missed an update about it. They mention minor updates to the existing one, but they can’t seem to come up with an idea of how to implement a new map and cycle it with the existing one.
This is just one thing that I can’t understand how they don’t see how big of a win it would be for so many people to add the MINIMUM variety for a popular game mode.
Please just remove OPR from this game. In EU regions, all OPR I have entered currently finishes within 10 minutes where one team is full of pre-made and other team is full of randoms with no gear… There is no balance at all. OPR is not fun at all to play.
Just remove it and make players to do open world pvp really. open world pvp is totally dead at this game. Only open world pvp is happening between territory owning guilds nothing more. So %90 of players even cannot experience this so called invasions and fortress sieges for +1.5 years. Please LOG IN YOUR OWN GAME TO PLAY YOUR OWN GAME to see the reality of the game in EU region, thank you very much.
With speed of AGS, the development speed and solving problems, this game needs at least 3 more years to say as initial stage of first release of a mmorpg. I just wait until October for Throne and Liberty to be released and still they cannot fix any problems of New World, I will quit this game without giving any other 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc chances anymore similar to the mistake I have done in Archeage for playing 7 years…
New World is the new Archeage in a much worse version. New World 2.0 is needed with Unreal Engine 5 to compete against other really promising open world pvp and pve mmorpgs like Ashes of Creation, Aion 2, Archeage 2, The Quinfall.
The Quinfall is kind of similar to New World with more open world pvp and pve content that is coming within 2024. Most of the New World and other mmorpgs players are waiting that game now.
