Requesting for opening a server somewhere in Singapore/Hongkong to cater Singapore,Thailand,Malaysia,Japan,Myanmar,Vietnam,Philippines,Taiwan, Laos and Indonesia players. I dont get the point why is Amazon not opening SEA server by itself when a healthy population is there.

I’ve been saying since day 1 that they need better region support. I can only assume they’re waiting for the initial influx of players to leave before they stand up new regions.
I have decide to quiet the game.
Decide to stay with the game hoping there might be SEA server in the future,
but it turn out you can’t do character transfer across region.
So If i continue to play this game on Australia server, I have to keep playing on 180ms latency for ever. I feel New World just not care about SEA player base…

Really hoping for a SEA server, I personally love the game very much but PVP cannot be played to its full potential on 180 ping. Really hope that Amazon implements a SEA server to cater to the player base here.

I want them to show stats of how many players are playing from SEA vs AU/OCE. I am quite sure this game would’ve had more players in this region (SEA) if only they gave Asia/SEA server, they truly underestimated how many players were interested here but held them back from buying by not giving us servers. I am sure AU players can sympathize with this, we are so tired playing at 200-300ms in games that doesn’t give servers on neither Asia/SEA nor OCE.
Game would occasionally stutter even at normal ping (50-80ms) imagine how much more consistent stuttering we experience with 170ms (highly frustrating in PvP), it’s genuinely worse than WoW, Guild Wars 2, FF14, and many other online games I played in NA. I would rather play in NA at this point with higher ping if it means having the servers of any other online game where my buttons are slightly delayed but at least my character don’t stutter every time I press an ability including dodges.

I strongly agree… opening a singapore server will benefit many south east asia players. our network connectivity is better than AU infrastructure and many South east asia can have low ping and enjoy the game to the fullest

I strongly agree… PVP lag is not a good experience.
Amazon already got a office in singapore… why not also have a server in AWS Singapore… many players in South east asia will be very happy.
Because SEA/East Asia doesn’t use Amazon, we have our own lol
The game is more PvP centric and high ping becomes pain for any PvP activity. SEA server will definitely help more players to enjoy the game more.
I am playing in EU Central with 270 ping and having hard time to fight other players.
I lost hope for getting a SEA server , devs are so busy with new update and new bugs and patching the bugs.
I’m guessing there’s still no update on where/when new sever regions are gonna release? literally the largest and most populated continent yet still no servers. it’s like Amazon wants the only game they made that had moderate success to fail as well.
They don’t have many employees to keep the server running.Because they use bicycles to generate electricity

Agreed with this post, it’s 100% not enjoyable to play PVP with 180 ping. I wish they listen to the community and release a SEA server ASAP.
