You are going to have to take this up with the “open new servers so I don’t have to wait in queue” crowd.

The overwhelming majority of people have made it very clear that they want more servers and more choice. They want to be able to choose low pop, medium or high. And they want fresh starts too (Not my cup of tea)
I don’t think they will release the locks until enough people that want to migrate go to the new servers. (And they all filled up pretty quick) then that will leave enough room on full servers to unlock them.
But there’s the matter of the flood coming with brimstone, likely they will be locked then too from all the returning players. So might want to check daily to see if there is a window to get your friends in while you can.

Yeah I imagine they will get unlocked but not until after launch week, if not a wee bit longer.
This is so they can make more higher population servers as well, by funneling people onto these new servers. Otherwise as we have learned numerous times the hive mind isn’t particularly great at looking at the bigger picture! Instead is all “WOO 20K QUEUE TIME ON ORUN!!” usually followed by, “AGS Y DID U LET US DO THAT?! INCOMPETENT!”

their only 1 reason people don’t want new server it it all about territory tax revenue if all if these people go to fresh start all these elites asses that exploited their way to the top for the last few months haha bye bye for ever they just don’t want more server so they can rule most if not all the server that make the most money but fresh start come that is impossible hahah good ridden
