Open world mobs

I don’t mean to compare games but I’ve seen videos of Albion online where there are mobs scattered around the world near nodes and with bots and immersion in mind I think that it would help to have more hostile mobs other than wolves and lynx filling the empty space.

I would like to see this to the point where anyone mindlessly running around or waiting on nodes to respawn would get punished. Something with an appropriate challenge according to the territory’s level but also something that cannot be escaped without conscious kiting.

Let me know if you agree or if there would be some unseen flaws to this.
