Open World PVP is already scarce, but there is another issue that is preventing more open world PVP fun

Me Danneh and the Pirate Gaming boys love open world. It’s one of our favourite parts of the game because of the ever changing landscapes, chokepoints, traps you can lay and a lot of the time, fighting outnumbered and winning against the odds.

Today in Brimstone we had back to back fights without another respectful PVP company, it eventually led us to the Westwall Nebet-Het elite zone. We managed to beat them to zone and decided we’d lay a trap, 12 or so of us hiding behind the Glyph chests inside the final room with all the treasure in it etc. Suddenly their players stopped moving towards us OUTSIDE of the room we were prone in, they suddenly were taking a long time in another room, way longer than usual. Upon further inspection we discovered that even when laying prone the social “H” interact button would show on anyone you hover over even if prone, they could see us through the door behind the Chests, totally rendering all our plan worthless and as a result they tried to do the same so we pushed in and killed them.

There is no way the “H” should pop up on a prone enemy, it defeats the whole purpose considering it conceals your name, open world PVP is hard to find in large quantities these days as there is really no actual incentive and nobody really fights to depend their towns from being pushed. Please if possible, return to when NOTHING showed up when prone, we’re very quickly running out of options to have fun in the open world.

Yes, I agree, it breaks the ambush fun. I’m afraid there are a lot of other problems in the game now and they do not care about this, at least for now. Hopefully in the future they will hear you and fix it.
