When this game launched open world pvp was the thing that everybody I knew was interested in. None of my friends still play this game. You need to make it more rewarding or punishing like tarkov in a sense or RuneScape for example they dropp all there resource when they die… ps nerf muskets
Honestly this will probably never happen since there’s no actual benefit for flagging even now.
What can be done instead is whenever you kill someone he’ll actually drop something useful, right now you can only get 500ish gs items, which are useless.
I don’t think a pvp game SHOULD be punishing, it can be punishing or it can be very rewarding. Why would matter to you if someone drops their items or resources if you’re getting a good loot anyways? Would the ones that are not flagging right now actually flag if there were any rewards? I think that’s the thing you should ask yourself, well the devs should.
They should also change influence system so you can actually do some pvp content in order to get access to wars, not that PVE repetitive quest system which is boring. I don’t know make it so you gain ‘X’ influence by holding the fort, which would also enable open world pvp.
This game has so much potential i trully hope they listen to the community because they could make it awesome.
And yes, nerf muskets.
Open world pvp does not exists. And here is how to fix it:
- drop pvp faction missions
- moment any fort is captured - lock it down for 1-2h - while locked it does generate infuelce points to whoever did capture it
- increase chance for legendaries on pvp reward sytem ( got 6 while im 200 + 12 lvl)
- fix pvp reward for kills - we should get pvp rewards for kills no matter how many times other player died. Just make it - each next time its littlebit less, but not less tha X. Also increase gear repair cost - each next death in last 60min - make next repair cost double in repair parts. So system wont by abused to farm pvp exp.
- keep forts locked for night but they should not generate infuence then
