OPR Faction missions

Give us OPR PVP Faction missions!!! I think this will help when theres so many people just playing OPR to get umbrals and not actually trying to kill or win. Some things to boost gold, umbrals, or faction tokens if you complete them in an OPR match. Missions can be like

  • Get a certain amount of kills, damage, or healing in a match
  • Capture baron
  • Capture and hold a point for a certain amount time
  • Win a match

Thanks for the feedback, HeartlessWoman, however I have a couple of small questions.

What rewards would feel the most rewarding but not “overbearing” or not rewarding enough?

What would be a good amount of kills/healing/damage in your opinion to make it feel challenging, but not too grindy?

Here this is a great idea, since now, winning or losing an OPR doesn’t change anything. Making content within the OPR such as gathering resources, building things, and evolving forts is totally useless, wasted time that is in no way rewarded.

I hope that there are OPR quests that are, however, profitable both as gold and as a reward. Since currently, doing opr pays nothing, and doing faction quests pays nothing.

If there is a scaling of sorts or missions.
Please consider Tanks and give something to them too. Damage taken, damage blocked or something.

I would have to play more OPR to get a better sense of numbers. I stopped playing because a lot of players are only doing enough to get credit for playing the match just to get rewards. But kills/damage/healing etc can be a small amount for 1 match and maybe a separate mission for kills/damage/healing etc over several matches if youre not able to complete it in 1 match.

While you’re at it can we please completely overhaul PvP missions to make the open world more alive? Cool. Thanks. :smiley:

they should be all missions that also “teach” people the mechs of OPR

+spawn a brute
+kill barron
+upgrade a town tent
+build respawn in fort
+upgrade a door to level 3
+capture a point and hold it for 90 seconds
+gather 100 “materials” like wood/ore
+spend zoth in shop to buy battle bread/movement bread or potions

extra hard missions

+get 3 kills in 3 seconds
+do 10000 healing in 3 seconds
+do 10000 dmg in 3 seconds
+revive a fallen ally twice

+join discord to work out strategy (lol jk)

should tie all these missions to new achievements with tittles

True but my concern would be a lot of players will do just the pve in OPR to get the credit for mission/match. So the Faction missions should be more focused on the PVP part because thats the main focus of OPR.

it really isnt the main focus, if you just pvp you will prolly lose the match…

Again just trying to get more focus on the PVP part of OPR, building a tent or upgrading a door sounds cool but if players only do that the entire match it takes away from the players actually trying to win the match. And PVP is the main focus of OPR the pve is a little more optional when it come to winning the match.

if you control two points with both maxed out buff tents its hard to counter that …

its the “objective” to get points, if you want to kill players there is WARs for that

we need some new battleground with capture the flag. or fort assault, or something else with LESS pve additions to make it more about the kills
