OPR Penalty for game crash

  • What is your character name in New World: Dryst

  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Irkalla

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Playing OPR game crashed after I died. When I relog in the game again. There is no option to reconnect to the OPR. And I get a “penalty” of 1:30 hours saying I can not play OPR for “disconnecting” mid match… Don’t implement a penalty if you don’t have a reconnecting system… that is just very bad game design decision.

  • Is this a bug or an exploit:

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I hope it’s a bug.

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Nop. i have to wait 1hour to play again OPR.

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Just crash the game in the middle of OPR.

This is a terrible way to penalize players… I was hoping to play full OPR today with the new patch, but this really killed the joy.

Same happened to me

  • What is your character name in New World: StonedSnoopBR
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Devaloka
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Played 4 OPR in a row, entered the queue again and when accepted to join OPR the game crashed before entering OPR. And now I get a “penalty” of 1:10 hours saying I can not play OPR for “disconnecting” mid match… Don’t implement a penalty if you don’t have a reconnecting system… that is just very bad game design decision.
