Problem: OPR scoring promotes a terrible meta for OPR. Everyone knows it. One team gets pre-made 5-stacks that are war oriented and can push forward and fight for objectives. The other is left with back-line stat pad players predominantly. It’s a garbage experience for players on the stat pad team.
Solution: Please adjust how scoring is calculated for players to reward objective play, not AOE/ranged stat pad builds by default.
Tired of running into the forts while your entire team besides 1-2 other brave souls stands 50m outside the fort firing through the door being useless. This playstyle should not be encouraged or rewarded. This should be the least scoring build playstyle, not the highest.
This should be a simple fix. Let’s make this happen sooner rather than later please. We’d have to nerf ranged/caster/healing to the ground to push people off their stat padding no risk playstyle. I’m not asking for that. The better solution is not to nerf their builds but to fix the scoring system to not reward the least skilled and least risk taking players. Reward objective play that is in the fight, not the 50m-100m players firing through the door please. This has gone on long enough.
