So as we are all aware that play OPR regularly the barrier system has made the spawn camping significantly worse. At least the Dev’s tried something. However I think I may have a solution to the issue that I feel would be easy to implement also.
Remove the barrier and have 3-4 friendly Brutes in each spawn. Realistically nobody likes to deal with 2 Brutes on 1 point as it is. If an enemy team were to push into a spawn point with 3-4 Brutes inside they are in for a really tough time. It would be a huge risk to push in and would also give time for players to spawn in with less pressure.
If a player dies from fighting the Brutes and players in spawn they need to respawn themselves which would mean they have to travel a long way back so it wouldn’t be worth the risk
I would agree that its a problem but its also part of the game to feel overpowered when your team has massive advantege.
More or less everyone just hates brutes in general and thinks they should be removed or replaced.
Giving player invournability would probably be better and having 15 sec wont give any advantage, it takes longer to run to outpost then that.
Bigger needed changes in outpost would be to fix all score distribution and gain.
Giving kill score to person doing most dmg to target
Giving score to contribution flag capture
increesed kill/assist fighting near outpost
Also maybe increese kill score to 250 and assist to 100, with this change healers wont have this huge advantage over others in score gain.
