OPR unbalanced teams

The OPR matches can get really unbalanced. Lots of premade 5 man squads get paired with other premade 5 man squads and all the solo’s get put on one team; resulting in an unbalanced OPR in which one team wins 1000 to 200.

I think there should be a separate 5 man squad only queue and a solo/duo queue. I know having two separate queue’s would not be a good thing for small servers. Maybe this can be fixed by having a region wide OPR queue instead of a server lock.

The other way to do that is to alternate team assignments for groups that are joining so that premade 1 goes Red, premade 2 goes blue, premade 3 goes Red, etc…

Yeah this is the way to go. Hopefully…

One would think they’re already doing that. I find that as well, I join as a solo only to be up against a tactical co-ordinated collection of teams.

I’m impressed if you ever got to 200 against 1000 in these situations

Yeah unbalanced opr games, imo, is a potential catalyst of nerf weapon threads.

If there is too many of one type of damage or sustain on one side, you will perceive the weapon to have too much value sometimes.

Bow might be not as bad if 3-10 didnt hit you at once. Life staff wouldn’t be so OP if one side had more healers.

Besides unbalanced matches not being fun it has these other possible side effects.

Or given how broken Healing is distribute Healers equally among both teams. :joy:
