Allright.
Let’s say I got the Ice Gauntlet and Life Staff.
The UI shows that I have the Ice Gauntlet in my hands but IN REALITY I have the Life Staff.
Instead of shooting the Ice Storm on the enemies, I’ll shot a damn Sacred Ground at them. I lose the cooldown of sacred ground, gg now wait 20 sec.
In 20 sec you lose the entire game. You see what I’m saying?
I wonder what it takes make the UI activate based on the weapon you have in your hands. Sanitize the check please. It’s insane. If Devs play any OPR in a serious way they will notice that this bug is atrocious. Is the worst thing that you can do to not show the correct UI.
Some situations require milliseconds of reactions time otherwise you die, your team die, you lose the damn outpost, and you lose the game.
This bug should go on top of the priority to fix imho. the OPR is IMPOSSIBLE to be played at serious levels if the UI is not perfect. I can deal with lag, I can deal with bs builds, but I cannot deal with misleading UI that shows the WRONG WEAPON.
Please devs read this: I’m not exagerating. For real in PVP you die in 1 second if you do a bad move. Imagine destroying a 20 seconds cooldown of Sacred Ground what it means. You wipe out an entire team for a line of code that can be fixed in one minute.
It’s not just opr, it’s the whole game right now with that bug. It’s truly infuriating to try and play your best and every time you go to do a nice pro dodge and weapon swap into a weaponskill or something. None of that happens in fact the only thing you did was dodge and your still holding weapon 1 instead of weapon 2 which you clearly pressed the button to swap to but pfft none of that actually happened for real cuz if your still holding weapon 1 and your were quick switching to drop the dps bomb and the bomb is on weapon 2 and weapon one is a life staff you just blew a healing cooldown cuz the game couldn’t keep up with your quick switch and now your also dead cuz no bomb happened.
Zero people playing currently are enjoying the game as much as they could be without this very seriously infuriating bug.
I’ve had it happen all the time. I’m extremely proficient at playing 2 weapons and quickswitching in between them on the regular, I was enjoying the hell out of doing it with 3 weapons in alpha and it was all so smooth. What happened this patch kinda sucks, bunch of cool new systems to play with but the gameplay got blown up.
I realized the feedback one was not the right place to post it, after I got this screenshot to show that is actually a bug. To not confuse the guys at the forum moderation that they need to file a report.
