Why doesn’t Orb of Decay return to the caster after it’s been used… Please fix that. It’s so janky. It will make the ability feel a lot better to use.
I totally agree that the Orb of Decay’s healing orb should be a homing one. The healing orb is useless if it can’t even home back to its caster. It actually looks awkward when the healing orb keeps on missing and just flies away.
Regardless of where the caster stands, the orb should always come back for the healing.
100% agree here, this is so silly. And I think the tech for homing exists, because that gold ghost shoots that homing cloud.
I also just noticed that the healing orb has a fixed distance, so dodging backwards makes you miss the orb and it just disappears in front of you. Sheesh.
Was part of the PTR feedback, so once (or if) all the 1.1 fires settle down, they can start addressing the PTR feedback for the classes. Other fun Orb of Decay issues is going into the ground and not returning, and hitting objects near by and doing no dmg/healing.
I will be reviving this thread as well since I’m a LS+VG main and my healing orb flying off to the heavens or not catching up to me when I dodge sideways or backwards looks pretty awkward.
Also, why focus all perks of the Void Gauntlet on heavy attacks?? Applying these perks to both might be a good change, but differentiate them in terms of the potency of the perk effects.
This meme feels appropriate.
AGS needs to let our Orbs of Decay curve back to us instead of awkwardly missing us every time we dodge and just flying away or popping right before it reaches us. C’mon!
