Orichalcum needed for High Level Jewelcrafting

I was Enjoying crafting Jewelery in this game until i noticed that the T5 Settings, chains, ect reqired Orichalcum Ingots to craft.

Here i was exited to mine platnium, because of higher jem drops and is teh T4 material for Jewel crafting, and now it is compleatly useless.

Iron Ore is already the most strained resourse in this game, and orichalcum ingots are needed in ALL Weapons and Armour which is based off Iron Ore, this part i am ok with.

But having an entire other metal group go to waste becase you didn’t think to seperate the high tier ores makes no sence.

I suggest Changing the Required ingot from an Orichalcum Ingot to a Pristine Orichalcum Ingot, which comes from using Orichalcum Ore with a Platinum Ingot.

This will at least eliviate some of the pressure on Iron Ore, but also have the effect of Making Silver, Gold and Platnium actually worth something as it will be required throughout the game and not just needed to level jewelcrafting.

I can second this. I was very surprised to find out that orichalcum is the T5 material.
Mainly because this invalidates the silver/gold/platinum precious metals. You just mine them for gems and throw away all that isn’t silver since even for levelling there is zero point in using better metals for settings, chains etc.

Having an alloy made from platinum ingot and ori ore would imo be much more meaningful.

Huh, I just hit 100 and had been figuring that for whatever reason platinum was just the highest tier material for jewelry, which honestly would be fine since those metals are only needed for jewelrymaking as far as I can tell. This is an enormous oversight. Platinum and gold are all but useless in this case.
