One major issuing I am now seeing after they allowed server transfer is that all players have begun flocking to a select few servers causing massive queue and wait times just to play.
Original server members who have already invested time and resources into the server should be given priority access to the server and automatically allowed to skip the line.
Part of transferring and abandoning your server should mean having to wait and bear the consequences of it. Its not right to punish the original server members who’ve been loyal by making them wait in the long queue line.
Simply allowing original server members to skip the line would alleviate this issue.
My server (Ohonoo) currently has a 600+ queue for the first time ever. I rerolled there within hours of it being released BECAUSE the one I first chose was full and had a huge queue. Allowing players to continue transfering to “full” servers is completely unacceptable and asinine.
Hey! thats literally the same server I am currently referring to. Our server was awesome and balanced and now its broken thanks to more oversight by the devs with no regard for the big picture
What’s stupid is our company is a group of IRL friends. But three xferred to us on xfer day one. Now they aren’t able to follow us without losing their level 40-50 characters and weeks of play time.
I agree that allowing original players to skip queue isn’t fair. But ffs. To allow unabated transfers as the solution to queues is just stupid–they’re allowing the queue antidote to create queues.
